My new Seagate 1TB got bad cluster

I've just got my new Seagate 1TB 32MB this morning. After transferring my data to it, I ran Windows Scandisk.
And the result is that the Disk got bad cluster (see the attachament for ss) Is there anything i can do
And one more thing, the copying speed quite slow, it took me more than one and a half hour to copy 390GB
(each file is 4.7GB and above) from the WD 500GB, transfer rate is about 45MB/s.
Before I tried to copy between 2 WD 500GB, the transfer rate is 60-75MB/s. Anyone expereinced this?
Quite disappointed with Seagate 1TB drive.

need help on setting up new system

I've just bought an E8200 from a forumer and a DFI P35 Blood Iron from LYP.

My specs:
CPU: C2D E8200
MB: DFI P35 Blood Iron
VID: ATI 1600Pro
HDD: 2x WD 500GB
RAM: 2x2GB Patriot DDR2-800
PSU: Enermax 485W

The problem is after i finished installing everything, the sys doesn't boot or post anything.
All the fan is working fine, the 2 orange leds on the mobo also r on. But except from those, nothing is on the screen, not even beep sounds.
Those components are from my previous AMD sys, and they r working fine after i plug back my AMD proc.
I also tried borrow my friend's proc E6320 on DFI mobo, same problem
Anyone of yours faced this problem with DFI before, thanks.

About volume control in Windows and on Speakers

hi, I'd like to know which one is the better setting regarding the volume control. Currently I'm using Prodigy 7.1 LT pair with Altec FX6021 and I set the volume control in Windows at 60%, I adjust the speakers volume whenever it needs. But is it a good option if I set the volume control in Windows at 100% or just leave it at 50-60%? Thx for your help.

Problem woth Prodigy and Vista

Hi, I'd like to ask if any one of yours experienced the problem with Prodigy 7.1 LT and Vista. Before that I used Audigy 1. After plugging in the Prodigy and reinstalling everything (OS, softs...), the sound card is working well except that I cannot use the micro. Although in the sound device\ recording, it said that the micro is working. I really don't know what happens. Do I need to change any setting to make it work, pls help me, thx

Styler toobar confilcts with IE7?

I've just installed Styler Toolbar then the quick tabs in IE7 suddenly disappeared. Although later I uninstalled Styler Toolbar and reinsatlled IE7, the quick tabs issue is still there. Anyone of yours facing this problem? Can help me, thx a lot.

Bitcomet Seeders Capped?

Ok, i've read about the streamyx caps n i'v done all i can understand from forums to override it but i still hav sucky dl speeds.

Somebody said to try dling Naruto files bcos they hav thousands of seeders. True (well at least the website displayed 3k++ seeders, dunno if it's reliable but when i tested my dl speed on it, i get a measly MAX seeders of 10 but can only connect to 5 or 7 of those 10 at most! I'm using bitcomet btw.

That is for Naruto files which hav 3000++ seeders, my other files show ZERO seeders (webbies say most of them hav double digit seeders).

What is going on?
more info which i dunno if it's useful...
1) i'm using Norton Internet Security 2006 (suscribed til 2007)
2) i'm connected to the net via my friend's comp (his modem, router, streamyx acount)

Oh, i also read that routers n modems may b the problem, but too much tech jargon on the websites n too little expertise on my side prevents me from understanding what most websites r tryin to say. Can any1 xplain in simple english??
