Career Gap for 8 years, what to explain?

Long story short:

I got bipolar disorders in around 2018 due to work stress and divorce and I even stay in mental hospital for 2 months.

After 2 months hospitalization, doctor suggest me not working so he wrote a letter to SOCSO asking them compensate me.

The compensation was okay, not much not little just around RM 1650 (I heard that's the maximum they can give), but I got not much commitment and I also got 6 digits in Bitcoins that I invested in the early days so financially I don't really need to work.

But after around 8 years of idleness I recently got into a relationship and have plans to get married. Although financially I can survive the rest of my life with the SOCSO money and Bitcoin I have, I think I better get back to work so my life can get back to "normal". Also working means I can stack more Bitcoin which is really good psychologically to see my Bitcoin balance growing.

So what should I write in my CV for my 8 years of career gaps? Should I write freelancing instead of leave it blank? Also, should I disclose my bipolar disorder in my interview? Should I mention I'm financially free now?

I'm worry if I mention bipolar employers might afraid and when I mention I have enough bitcoin to survive employers might think I can leave anytime so won't hire me.

Any suggestions is appreciated.

What Happen?

I was dating a girl from Tinder and we went to meet near Liquid Room (Penang), I didn't know she would pick Liquid Room and start ordering expensive wines. She said she is from a rich family so its okay to order the wine, she can pay me back after I swipe the card. So she ordered more and more wine until my card got maxed out (RM 10,400), I also paid cash RM 400 after maxing out my card.

She then ask me to go back first and she will pay me back later.

I notice the credit card receipt name is Protein Lab instead of Liquid Room, so money laundering might be taking place.

The girl then blocked me on tinder and whatsapp.

I felt strange and called both Liquid room and Protein lab.

Liquid room admit that the girl is their wine promoter they hired to promote wine but they didn't know they way she drives revenue was asking me to pay first and they will pay me back so they decided to withhold her commission and fire her from Liquid Room.

Protein Lab Kelvin Khoo said he only lended credit card merchant machine to them and didn't know how they use the CC machine.

Liquid Room said they can't offer me full refund but can only take the cost and refund the rest but need to wait until credit card settlement.

Protein Lab Kelvin Khoo said bank negara block the payment because I reported to my CC bank about what happened, so they can't pay back Liquid Room so Liquid Room so they can refund me.

At the end of the story I was too dumb to trust the girl she is rich and will pay me back.

I lodged police report, a few weeks later inspector whatsapp me telling me some other guy kena same trick from the other pub from the same girl.

Just wondering other than the Let's talk salary thread in this forum, any good reliable research tool to use to get salary report for industries?

I'm using Jobstreet salary report for research. However when I look at the report I always feel like I'm on the higher spectrum of the salary in my position in my industry. But when I talk with my relatives, friends and ex-colleagues who are in similar industries they always talk about even higher figures and always make me feel suck. Even people in Let's talk salary thread also ambush my esteem by stating how they are earning even higher salary with equal or less number of experience.

I know we should avoid comparing to stay happy but still this is human instinct, and especially recently CNY relatives and school gathering people tend to discuss/survey how the job market is doing now.

How to domain a blogspot and using Google Apps

I have a domain hosting my blogspot, and after set up, it is impossible to use the google app @mydomain.com email with google apps.

Why Google so stupid don't let people use their blogspot and their google apps at the same time?

I search through the net and it seems that you can only either host the blog or host your email domain.

ie. you can't have both yourdomain.com blog (hosted on blogspot) and email@yourdomain.com email at the same time.

Android confusing +601X with 01X

one thing our android contacts doesn't know that 017XXXXXXX = +6017XXXXXXX , so when the we sms or phone, sometimes it shows 2 threads one for each.

I'm joining a medium size audit firm soon.

I had no experience in audit, just had taxation experience. I'm switching to audit because audit I can go out more rather than just stay at office when I did taxation.

Some people say audit life sucks need to prepare for overtime but so far the few firms I went to interview do have strict 5 days week and don't work very late. (unless they lie to me la)

Google sync buggy

I notice that google products like google calender and gtasks (i use default apps) is buggy.

Here's how:

If I only key in event from my phone or desktop, no problem.

Problems happen when I both use phone and desktop to key in events, sometimes I key in from phone then after sync the event's gone, sometimes it becames double sync (gtasks shows each task twice).

To avoid this I just ignore my desktop and key in events and task only on my phone and leave ignore the PC completely.
But this makes me feel like using non-google phone, I mean like unsyncable phones where phone is seperated with your google cloud. Might as well just use blackberry, or iphone.

I think this problem wont happen if your phone is online all the time (3g), but not if you only online with wifi.

FYI I'm currently on eclair and this is bugging me since donut.
