MIA / CPA - Questions and uncertainty.

Hey gents,

I have a few questions in regards to the membership, examinations and application to the MIA(Malaysian Institute of Accountants). Before that I'll provide some backstory. I'm currently in my final year (graduating Dec) of degree overseas in Australia, and my uni is affiliated with the CPA programme, which means I am entitled to be a member upon graduation.

My future plan is to head home to work straight away, and would like to get started on the papers/application of the membership for MIA as soon as I can. I am unclear in certain things and questions are;

1) When and how (at which stage of degree/grad) can an individual sign up for a membership with MIA?
2) When can one start studying/sitting for the papers? From my understanding it is every March and Sept, and if I can start studying after grad and take the first paper(s) in March 2019 it would be great, can anyone validify this?

I understand that it has to also come with 3 years of work experience in the related field.
