Need help! Asus vs Dell

Hi! I'm looking for a laptop to replace my Asus N82 which died. Took a look around and found a few models that I liked. Mostly going to use this laptop for study/work and maybe simple gaming (eg. Ragnarok type games). Acer is out of the question as the ports are all located at the back, which I hated.

I'm actually in Australia now, and the models here slightly differ from Malaysian ones, but I'm hoping you guys can help me. I'll list approximate prices as well.

Also, as most of the new models are Windows 8, I'm pretty much torn in whether I should get a touchscreen.

If without a touchscreen, i was contemplating this:

Also wanted to ask whether it's better to get a SSD+HDD. Oh and I believe that for the battery life among all three choices, Dell is the weakest, as well as being the heaviest choice and thickest.
