Finally, every car enthusiast’s nightmare — I need an MPV. Long story short, I need a full-size MPV. I’ve rented compact MPVs a few times before, but they just weren’t spacious enough for my extended family(CP's SIL in wheelchair, old MIL and helper). I’m planning to buy used and cash.

I’ve narrowed it down to either a Nissan Serena C27 or an older Toyota Vellfire (2010–2013). These two options seem to be available for around RM60k-ish in the used market. The car will mainly be used for family travel.

Maintenance-wise, I think I can manage unless it’s worse than the VW CC I owned about 10 years, which I doubt.

Personally, my wife and I actually prefer the Serena because:

- It’s much newer. Better fuel efficiency (I assume due to the smaller engine). Easy to move from front row to the last row since there’s no center console. The middle seat is flexible and can slide closer or further apart when needed to fit 3 people (for short trips or smaller passengers)

However, after being in the Serena C27 FB group for almost a year, most of what I see are people posting about problems. Since the car will mostly be driven by my wife, I’m worried about it breaking down on the road — especially when I’m away (which happens quite often).

Because of that, I suggested an older Vellfire instead to wife. She's not really keen since the first old Vellfire we look at in the used car shop, her first words is "macam rumah hantu" lol. My thinking is that Toyota reliability should be better, and it still fits our needs and budget.

So what do you guys think?

My TP Link TX3000e so slow

Hi, recently subscribe to Time 500mbps. Change the router to Asus RT-AX55 and change from Tenda wifi usb dongle to TP Link TX3000e. Pc is less than 15 meters from routers, and no wall blocking, only door but I kept door open at all time doing this test.

For some reason, I cannot get high speed wifi on my pc. Using my old usb dongle can get up to 260mbps. From same spot I constantly got more than 3++mbps on my phone. But using this TX3000e, never got more than 200 mbps. Got 500mbps once, and then no more. Constantly got less than 200mbps, sometimes even below 10mbps. Even the ping on this wireless adapter is worse than my usb dongle.

Gave up having discussion on tp link forum. Seems like not helping at all.

Ryzen 5 3600 Slow Fresh Boot

Hi, just recently upgrade to ryzen 5 3600. Motherboard is MSI Mortar Max. Using ssd wd black sata.

Fresh boot can take as long as 2 mins. Restart would take about 30 sec, much better. But my previous system i3 7100 take shorter than that.

Tried everything I can find from the internet. Change from CSM to UEFI, disabling all other boot option, update latest bios version, latest amd chipset driver. Now I just reset to default, and change csm to uefi.

Hi guys. So need help deciding between this 2 laptop. Similar pricing, within my budget.

Lenovo Legion Y7000 - around RM4200
Asus TUF FX505 - around RM3900

Specs just about the same;
16gb ram
GTX 1660 TI

Only different on specsheet is Y7000 using i7 9750h, FX505 using Ryzen 7 3750h.

So, which one to go since price is similar between these two. From my reading, the TUF heat management is not that good. And I prefer the looks on the Legion Y7000. Although I do prefer the plain look of the Y540 more but for me doesn't justify spending RM300 more just for the looks. Y7000 looks not that bad also.

Hello guys. My friend from europe will be coming to Malaysia in 3rd quarter this year and she wanted to take ETS from KL Sentral to Ipoh. And she is disabled, using wheelchair.

How disabled-friendly it will be for her? The entrance, gate, moving into ets, moving between the seats, is there a spot specially for people with wheelchair, both in KL Sentral and Ipoh station?

Old Macbook Pro for music production?

So, I've been using windows all my life. I like to play around with my music instrument, connected to my windows laptop using 2i2 scarlett. Just light music production.

A few days ago, play around with my friend's Macbook Pro. Have to say, fall in love with garageband/logic pro. Well I'm familiar a bit with garageband. Been using it to wrote song on the spot on my iphone. Was thinking to get and old Macbook Pro from maybe 2012 to start using logic pro. Is it okay? Cos search online for the model, the price are around rm2000 which I'm willing to spend. Or 2012 macbook is too old already?

Old 3DS or new 3DS?

Right now I'm torn between getting a used old 3ds or used new3ds. Buying just for leisuring gaming, mainly to play pokemon and other simple game(while waiting for pokemon lets go pikachu release in november on switch). Does it have a big difference between the 2? Will my money worth it to spend double the value of the old3ds for the new3ds?

Currently my duke 200 is in workshop for the 4th time. No hope dy I think. Been using my friend`s LC 135 for the past 2 weeks commuting from home to work. About 150km(pergi-balik) Perak-Penand daily. My back feel like wanna break.

Long story short, I`m so ready to get new bike. The new Z650 abs. All documents complete. Only need to submit, walla get my bike within a week or 2. Only thing is, with the election result, new gov, do I need to wait a bit or not so much difference wait or not?

I just replaced my iPhone 6s battery and home button(no response when pressed and fingerprint sometimes working something not)

So when i turn on back my iPhone, it detect no sim. What should i do? Read from lot of similar problem on internet said solve it by update to new ios (im now on 10.2.1 cos of jailbreak). Can only update tomorrow.

I just wanna make sure i don't broke any hardware related to cellular. Oh btw, my wifi still working.

Can I connect my guitar amp directly to my phone so that my phone can record video with a clean sound. The amp is connected with a mic and an acoustic guitar.

If yes, how? Do I just connect aux cable from headphones port(amp) to phone?

So starting a few weeks ago my car radio keep on going into "PROTECT" mode. Need to remove the front part, poke the reset and pray the radio will be okay. Most of the time it work. But starting from last week, it will work only about 10 minutes.
