2.8 million Singaporeans

SINGAPORE: Eligible Singaporeans will be receiving the SG Bonus of up to S$300 by December, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) said on Friday (Sep 28).
A total of 2.8 million Singaporeans will receive letters from Oct 2 onwards, informing them of their SG Bonus benefit, MOF said. The SG Bonus will be paid out to citizens by December, it added.
Citizens may use their SingPass to view their SG Bonus benefit online at the SG Bonus website www.singaporebudget.gov.sg/sgbonus from Oct 2.
Those who have registered their mobile numbers with SingPass will also receive SMS notifications.

"As announced at Budget 2018, the Government will be giving a one-off SG Bonus to all adult Singaporeans this year. This reflects the Government’s long-standing commitment to share the fruits of the country’s development with Singaporeans," said MOF.
Eligible citizens will receive up to $300, depending on last year's Assessable Income.

In my opinion, Apple pay, Android pay, Samsung pay etc are more secure due to card tokenisation, and you don't need to put in money first into wallet to use.

RIO DE JANEIRO (Reuters) - A massive fire raced through Brazil’s 200-year-old National Museum in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday, probably destroying its collection of more than 20 million items, ranging from archeological finds to historical memorabilia.

The destruction of the building, once a palace for emperors that had fallen into disrepair, was an “incalculable loss for Brazil,” President Michel Temer said in a statement.

“Two hundred years of work, research and knowledge were lost.”

There was no word of the possible cause late on Sunday, nor if there were casualties or the exact extent of damage.

Firefighters in Rio did not reply to requests for comment.

Live television broadcast images of the fire, which began after the end of visiting hours at 5 p.m., burning out of control throughout the building late into the night.

The museum, which is tied to the Rio de Janeiro federal university and the education ministry, was founded in 1818. It houses several landmark collections, including Egyptian artifacts and the oldest human fossil found in Brazil.

The museum had suffered from years of neglect under numerous governments, the institution’s vice-director the Globo TV network on Sunday night.

“We never got anything from the federal government,” said the official, Luiz Duarte. “We recently finalized an agreement with (state-run development bank) BNDES for a massive investment, so that we could finally restore the palace and, ironically, we had planned on a new fire prevention system.”

In a statement posted on its website in June, BNDES agreed to financing of 21.7 million reais (4.14 million pounds) to “physically restore the historic building” and also to carry out work to “guarantee more security to its collections.”

/k always like to advice people to buy cars within their means, if buy car price shouldnt be more than a year's salary.

In Malaysia, fresh grad salary 1 year (3.5k a month for example) is 42,000. For that price can buy an entry level Mybi.
In UK, fresh grad salary 1 year £25,000-30,000. For that price, can buy Mercedes A Class.

But mybi is godcar so ok right?

Proton Workshop for Car Crash

Dear all, just crashed my proton car and the callman brought my car to this workshop called “Topgen Auto” near Batu Caves. The callman told me it’s proton edar, and the name card they gave me is written proton edar as well so I didn’t bat an eye. Only recently found out that they’re actually not, called them and they said they are “under bukit Maluri proton edar, you can call them and ask”. But bukit Maluri proton edar phone number doesn’t work.

Anyone with experience with them?
