Need help in setting proxy for IDM!

Broadband provider
ISP/package: TIME Telecommunications
Location: UNITEN
Have you called your ISP's helpline?: Nah. Since the internet was not mine

Personal equipment
Modem: Not using modem
Router: Not using it. Since the apartment provided a RJ45 wall socket in my room.
Firewall used: Just basic Windows Firewall (Windows 7)

Problem details
First occurence of problem: After their changing IP address for my apartment port.
Problem frequency: IDM cant start downloading.
Problem description:

My university tell me that they need to reconfigure the IP address for all user in the compound. So in order to keep online, they provided us an IP address to be use as a proxy.

All browsers were flawless and I can keep surfing using proxy. But I cant use IDM to download anything.

Here's the screen shot for the error.

I filled up all the needs like, proxy IP, Username, password and port. But still unsuccessful.
Is there some way to use a simillar proxy as firefox for IDM? - My thought

No experience in networking or etc. But taking in Computer Science major. I'll try my best to understand any your terms.

Internet problem with D-Link 2640T

Ei guys, I just need some help here. My modem is the D-Link 2640T.

Yesterday I got my internet upgraded it's speed [lol tmnut], then after they configure my modem. I can't connect it using PPPoE -that's the auto connect one-

I can use bridge mode and dial it using the pc. but thats what i do not want to lol

any experts in this problem?
