Changing gateway ip of Thomson TG784n

Just to share..... if you are using Thomson TG784n used by maxis ftth and you wish to change the gateway ip from 192.168.1.254 to something like 192.168.0.254 like me (bcos all my client pcs/servers/tablets/smart phones/applications are all pointing to 192.168.0.1 as server ip....)

u can login using administrator account and backup the configuration file, then edit it with notepad, change all 192.168.1.254 to 192.168.0.254 and change all 192.168.1.0 to 192.168.0.0 and save and restore back to the device..

if u ask in maxis forum and call to cs.... they will tell you the gateway ip is not changeable...

ps: remember to change the poolstart and poolend too for LAN_private..
