I hope some sifu can help me. I am trying to connect my pc to my home theater and tv to play some games in 5.1. I heard that its possible to connect the nvidia 6 series cards using hdmi but my gpu has 3 dvi and 1 mini displayport but no hdmi.

I tried using a dvi-hdmi adapter and connected using hdmi direct to my pioneer receiver which showed picture but no sound, I checked the windows sound and it said not connected.

Will it work with an adapter and if so does it need to be a dual link adapter? As mine only appears to be a single link adapter. Also would I be able to get it to work with a mini display port to hdmi adapter?

Just thought I would share a way to get free high page rank backlinks. Im sure most of you may already know about it as its been around for a while but its called Automatic Backlinks.

Although there is a way to buy link credit the free way to use it is by adding your own website(s) that have pages with page rank and allowing other peoples links to be posted on those pages. Each page is individual and the links placed on there wont be site wide so the more pages you have with page rank the more link credit you can earn from that site. The higher page rank the more credit you receive per link. You can also specify the topics/languages of the links that you allow to be posted on your site and remove any links that you do not like.

Once you have earned link credit you can start adding pages, anchor text, topic and other variables of the website that you would like to promote and the system will start spending your link credit on backlinks to your own site. The higher page rank of the pages linking to you the more credit that will be used. You can also remove any links you don't want and have your link credit returned.

Hi guys,

My pc parts (except hard disks/disk drives and psu) are all only a few months old and its been running great up until a few days ago but now there is a problem and I am having troubles figuring out what it is. The startup can take like 30 minutes and once it does start up all the animations are very laggy including fade in fade out animations and windows aero but runs fine other than that. If I play games I have the same problem also. I dont think its the graphics card as I removed that and used the onboard graphics and got the same problem. Also when I try to boot from disk, i get an immediate black screen windows error (cant remember the code but said it was a hardware issue). I have tried using different ram and disk drives and removing one of the hard disks but no change so I would have thought it would be the psu/cpu/motherboard/primary hard disk, anyone know what the likely candidate could be?

Noob Home Theater Question

I brought a home theater system yesterday, nothing special just a pioneer 5.1 setup with a VSX-821 receiver. The guys that installed it for me seemed to know about as much as me about ht systems which would be 0 so not sure if everything is installed correctly, every blu ray I have played so far has no English 5.1 option only 7.1 true hd but has lots of 5.1 options for other languages, is this normal as I dont have 7.1 or is something setup wrong with my ht?

As the title says I just got myself a Samsung s27a950d monitor which is 120hz, I couldn't find a display port cable anywhere so I got a dvi -> hdmi cable instead. When i connect the cable from an Asus 6970 I can't seem to set my screen on 120hz, does anyone know what I need to do?

I wanted to get a wireless mouse and keyboard so I can do some 3D PC gaming on my TV, I was thinking to get a Mamba for the mouse but from looking at the razor website they don't seem to have any wireless keyboards, does anyone have any recommendations for a wireless keyboard and/or what features to look for in a wireless keyboard for gaming?

Anyone notice that Malaysian gov seem to be banning a lot of sites other than the usual porn sites recently?

I have noticed that I havent been able to access these SEO sites for a few months now unless using a proxy.
