After late night workouts

Good day everyone, I usually finish workout late, and too tired to eat after that. My friend said that it's bad because my body need food to recover faster. But when I finished shower and all it's already 11pm-ish. I sometimes took whey or some light bites before workout, then after workout should I eat anything? >.<
Hello, I've been trying out some Les Mills Body Pump classes in my gym and unexpectedly loving it! After 1 month I managed to survive double/triple weights for squats compared to first class but I still can't make it for upper body training even with only 5.5lbs on both sides :'(

Any workouts that I can try out with just dumbbell to improve? The bar areas are full of guys and I'm a bit shy >.<
I'm a 25 yo female, average body size ( now working out hard to be slim )

Look for gym buddy Absolute Fitness

Hello, I just transferred to Absolute Fitness in Queensbay Mall. I used to be in Gym Nation until AF took over. Gym Nation was quiet and all so I can just syok sendiri and do my routines. I went to AF the first time yesterday and it's packed and I feel so noob (bad stamina and strength) and lost that I not sure what to do anymore.

My history of workout is a disaster. I NEVER workout in my whole life until I joined a combative gym last year (Muay Thai and MMA) and surprisingly I LOVE it. But because of the classes timetable clashed with my working hours, so I joined back a normal gym and try to lose weight and tone up my body. I mostly researched online, managed to eat clean and stick to my daily workout for 2 months, then bad habit kicks in and I fell back to rotting at home and feeling miserable about failing my new year resolution. My stamina was okay ( managed to survive bodycombat classes and all) then after I stopped and tried back 1 class, I thought I will die inside the class.

This is when I really determined to change my lifestyle and sorts. But knowing myself (lack of self discipline), I feel maybe getting a workout buddy will help. I'm a 25yo female chinese, and prefer workouts in the morning. My goal is to lose weight and tone up my body. Any good Samaritan willing to partner with me?
