hi all, my laptop MOBO just burn out, when i take it to service, they promise to change a new MOBO f.o.c ( just charge the labor fee) as last time i had a prob once with the MOBO and i paid 600 to fix it although the warranty die 1 month ady, but then when i call the service centre and ask for the date when the laptop will be fix, they said that my model is already discontinued in MY, so they need to sent back to taiwan and fix it, it probrably take a month to fix, this is my laptop specs:
BenQ R56 brought at dec 2007
Core 2 duo 1.5Ghz
2gb ram, 120 gb hdd, nv8400gm

The prob: will the mobo break down again? 1st time is graphic card issue and after 4 months i change a new 1, now is MOBO went short

Any sifus here have any suggestion? Should i js go for a new laptop? If so have any suggestion? My limit is 2.5k-3k, can play games (sc2, online game) with middle specs, using inventor, autocad and photoshop...

If i sold the old 1 to shop or whatever, what is the price range? Would it be just around rm600 with the motherboard fix?

Thank you!
