My mind suddenly just pop up with a question for discussion, normally people trying to evade tax, trying to reduce their tax and LHDN might audit these kind of issues if there are some abnormality in the record, but what if i pay more RM10K tax to LHDN, will they investigate about this?

Hey guys,

I am in my early 30s, currently work as IT engineer, mostly support ERP stuff ( including some development reports), some unix, some pc debugging, minor infrastructure setup, have been doing this for around 6 years, will be completing my MBA in dec 2021. I wish to change career into cybersecurity, and decided to take comptia sec+, and CEH to get into cybersecurity, self study OSCP later on, is this a wise move? I am really passionate in mainly cybersecurity secondly networking. Just want to know more about cybersecurity jobs market in malaysia ( anything about it), and the future of cybersecurity roles in malaysia. Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance .

Resigned during Project implementation

Hi guys,

I am currently in the middle of project implementation. I found a job i craved for some times as i have been looking for something else for quite a while, or else i will be suffering in my current role( i am exhausted, i do have self aware of my current skills and the things i want to pursue).

The current manager treated me quite good somehow, he's like a friend to me( it's kinda like a hard feeling to me, i don't know why), but if i resigned, my boss confirmed mampus, coz the rest of my team members(who are in the project implementation) confirm will join me tender for sure( The chain reaction caused by me).

I understood that once i resigned, management will have to find other replacement or other backup plan to get the project on track. What i meant is, we are replaceable in the company. It would be awkward somehow, if you guys got what i meant, how did you guys deal with it, this is an open sharing, hope it helps for others as well. Thanks

Mentally exhausted, burnout

Hey Guys,

I am mentally exhausted in my life, pursuing my masters degree(left last subject to go) while working a full time job ( busy job, a lot of projects on going). I do have my expectation and my goals too. I do understand that life is not that easy. But i am at a point where i am unmotivated, depress due to long time don't have a break, and i couldn't relax, i did went to psychiatrist for 2 session, the psychiatrist told me that i suffered from burnout(due to stress for long term) and anxiety which is quite true , and he asked me to relax more and don't push my self too hard. Currently I am in a state of unmotivated and being unproductive in my work( for almost 4months), have to always force myself to do my daily task, having hard time to focus on work, my colleague is helping me to wipe my ass, i felt helpless for now. Do you guys having any similar experience and how you guys cope with this kind of situation , mind sharing to me ? Hopefully this post can help others too. Thanks in advance.

I purchased something from US placed order on 2nd august 2021 until today, the tracking status stucked at 29th august 2021. I called to pos laju enquire about this, they told me that my parcel is using international mail, it's not trackable after the discharge from kastam, it might take 1 to 2 months to arrived. Does any of you face this kind of situation before? i don't know what else i can do except waiting.

Online MBA vs MBA(attending class)

I am a working adults and i plan to enroll into MBA.
i resides in penang, i found out that there are only a few universities
in penang which offers MBA courses.
Currently my two options are USM and inti international university.

1. USM ( attending classes after working hours, taking 2years ++)
2. Inti International University ( Fully online MBA course 1 years ++ )

My question is, if i want to further my career using inti's online MBA
certifications in which i've completed in 1 years++, are there any concerns
when it comes to interview for those employees who have MBA(attending classes) vs
Inti Online MBA course?

Concerns like MBA( attending classes ) might be favoured by the employer rather than the MBA(online classes))
Is MBA (online classes) having same accreditation with the one that requires attending classes?

I hope someone who would actually provide me some useful details.

If you guys heard about Nu skin, please do feel free to tell me more info about it, i do know that Nu skin has been around for quite long, and their products are quite good but pricey. They do have some nice plan like TR90 weight management plan which have quite a good review. One of my colleague is doing Nu skin, keep asking me out to yamcha, i will avoid this for sure, because i think their business plan like MLM, or pyramid scheme, correct me if i am wrong. Hi, guys, just wondering about a company that my friend use to talk about, but he dont want to disclose the company mame, asking me out to 3 days seminar talk some more, i guess it's a direct selling company. I just got some info about the company.
1. The company is a local malaysia Company.
2. They do have minerals supplement, stem cell products and other daily use products( but i don't think it's phytoscience, i think it's similar to amway and cosway).
3. It's established around 10 years.
4. They do have 2 distributor center in penang.
5. They are quite active in JB, melaka and KL( they are still expanding in malaysia)
6. Recently just expand to thailand.
