Corsair RM850e, B850M Aorus Elite wifi6e, RX9070xt

Hi Sifus and Pros.

I'm new to PC building. I would like your professional input on what would be the best layout for the connector.

I'm now currently using a B850M Aorus Elite wifi6e - one of the 8 pin connector is connected to the MOBO and one of the slot at PSU. The PSU I'm using is Corsair RM850e. The GPU I'm now using is GTX 1050 Ti. I'm planning to upgrade to AMD Aorus RX 9070 xt, which the question bags to me as this specific model requires 3 connector, 8-pin to power it up.

I'd be moving my GTX1050Ti to the 2nd PCIe slot gen 3 with the help of Riser Cable.

What's the best layout for the PSU to MOBO and GPU (RX9070xt).
4 8pin connector is needed (1 for MOBO and 3 for GPU) and there's only 3 8pin slot on the PSU. The manual for the GPU and some online pc builders says it's best to use 3 independent 8 pin connector as the card draws high on wattage/power under load and it's better not to use pigtail or daisy 8 pins as it may burn the cable and the gpu. (1 input split to 2 output)

Please advise.

Thanks.

Hi everyone, good day.

I was wondering if anyone have good recommendation for 3 channel dash cam for Honda City (2016 model) as am about to start ehailing services. I would prefer the dash cam to be Capacitor based powered as it's going to be more durable.

Give your 2 cents and feel free to share. Thanks guys!

Assembling DIY eGPU

Hey All!

I was wondering if anyone tried DIY external eGPU for their own Laptops. I'm looking for recommendations, as my laptop is 6 years old - Sony's F Series (VPCF226HG) - Specs for the Hardwares are the same as the Sony's webpage.

Since the Processor is a 2nd generation Intel(Sandy Bridge), I was wondering if there's any DIY eGPU that is known or that could be compatible (Read a few online threads that there's a possibility of Bottleneck scenarios). Looking forward to Sifu's, Guru2, Kawan2 dan Abang Adik's feedback. Would love to do high settings gaming (PUBG, Fortnite, Call of Duty, Battlefield:WWI - to name a few), Photoshop, etc..

Cheers!
Hi all!

I got this tooth sticking out behind my right, bottom side of wisdom tooth and it traps food at times. I was wondering if the removal of the tooth might be costly and is there any estimated price? There's also the supernumerary teeth on my right hand side. Please advise.

Thank you.

Advice is needed

Hey all! Good evening! Here's my problem. I've bought a Sony Viao in the month of November 2011 and recently, during CNY, 22nd of January 2012, I've brought it back to my hometown(Note that it was my first time bringing the laptop in the plane where previously I had used other lappies without any problems!). During take off, for sure it's not possible to use any lappie or electronic gadgets right? So during cruising, maybe 30 minutes to flight, I took out the lappie to use it, and 10 minutes passed, the LCD just cracked! No pressure, no dropping objects nor impact. So, to my horror, I was like shocked and was wondering if there was any sifu here that experience this kind of case before. So, not knowing what to do as I was heading back to my hometown (Kuching to be exact), I left the laptop unattended for a week as I had no idea what to do (The duration I was @ hometown). So went I got back to KL (27th January), I had no time to sent it to the Sony Centre (The Curve).

After that, around February 6 or 7th, I've managed to make time to drop by with the lappie and I was told by the customer care person that my laptop will be sent for diagnosis by their technician. So a week went by and one of the customer care hotline person called. Conversation started with her greetings and all and soon after, I was told that to change the LCD screen, a total of RM961 was to be paid. So I was numbed as I've bought the lappie for an amount of RM4899 and now I've got to pay another RM961? That's alot and it's not even covered by the waranty! So then I explained the situation as of the above paragraph and she told me, "WHY DID YOU USE THE LAPTOP IN THE PLANE?" I was like "WTF Women?" I mean seriously? Have you not travelled or what? Anyway, I got pissed off so I asked her to no proceed with the repair. 2 days later I was called to get the laptop back from the Centre.

So, sifus. Need advices here.
1.) Recently I was told that I should make a filing of the case to the Tribunal. Most probably I'll get the full refund or something like that. (Have no time up to now as I'm working in a construction site located @ Damansara Kim, rushing to end the project and the Office is like @ the city).
2.) Read some forum regarding Sony's frequent cracked screen and most of them had to sent their laptop for the professional technician to prove that it was not abuse of the item (Who would go and bloody hammer their personal stuffs that cost so much?) and claim it against them via Customer's Right as well.

Headache. Any more suggestions? I think I need to do it asap as the longer i prolong the issue, the harder for me to get the case going. =/ Thank you in advance!

VGA cables. Confusing.

I've been looking around for a VGA cable that connects Laptop(Input) and to the TV(Output). So far, I've encountered a few problems that is the number of pins or the Male/Female is the opposite. So can anyone help me on this questions. Firstly, is there a 15 Pin male which connects from the Laptop, and 9 Pin Female which connects to the Tv is available? 2nd, is it possible for me to connect a 15 male to 9 pin female, which by means the quality would be affected or not.

DSCBL

That's a sample but I need 3 rows of 5 pins each for the male. Thanks in advance.

Digi Broadband~

Alright. I just registered 2 days ago with Digi, package RM88 with free modem, 10 gb quota. Tried it yesterday, and it works for bout' 3-5 minutes but then the HSPDA network(Teal) light on the modem turns to EDGE(Light Green) after that. Still facing the problem. Thing is, I called to Digi Helpline and the person on the line said that it could be the peak hour or no network coverage which i doubt so cause' it was 3 am in the morning when I tried it and my place is in the map so how could it be so?

One other reason he gave is that tall buildings around you can affect the speed. So I tried everywhere else such as Bangsar and KL Central but still the connection was still like the speed as in the picture. Anyone has any details on what I should do. Thanks in advance.
