Number of interviews

Wanna know, when you already have a current job but at the same time looking for opportunities elsewhere. How many job interviews did you guys end up attending to before getting the first offer?

I've been working for a few years in the same company and for advancement, I've decided that I'll need to search for jobs in other companies. So far I've attended about 3 interviews in the last 1 year, so far no luck.

I'm pretty much relearning the interview do-s & don't-s by taking notes about how I feel about it, requesting feedback from the recruiter/hiring manager where I can. I've had more failures last time when I first started looking for jobs, but now equiped with experience and yet still having troubles with job interviews, I'm starting to feel quite crap about myself, especially when seeing my peers seemingly changing yet another new job almost effortlessly.

Power supply or motherboard issue?

I've just got myself a new rig 4 days ago with the following build

Intel I5 4440
Gigabyte H87M-D3H
Kingston ram 8gb
Asus Geforce GTX750TI OC 2gb
Powersupply coolermaster GXII550W
Samsung SSD 120gb840EVO
Win 7 64bit

Was working fine the past 3 days. Today when I got back home when I try to turn on I had this screen where it says the Main BIOs is corrupted and needs to load from the backup BIOs. So I let it run and windows started up fine. but after like 5 minutes my computer shuts down by itself, complete with the shutdown screen.

I tried to turn it back on again, it started up but only stayed on for like 3 seconds before it shuts off completely. Few attempts to start it again results in the same thing, shutting down after a few seconds..

I unplugged the power cord and plugged it straight to a wallsocket rather than through the 4 pin extension cord (only sharing with my monitor, sound system stereo and my ext HDD). So far I've not seen a shut down issue yet.

Any idea what's causing this? I googled it up and some sources say it's my motherboard and some say it's my PSU. But since plugging it straight to wallsocket works so far, it may seem to be the extension cord not giving enough juice. I'm not sure. On a side it seems my mech keyboard's PS/2 cable isn't working either (was fine few days ago), not sure if related.

Any sifus can point me in the right directions?

WTA: Character running not respond to keyboard

I noticed that sometimes while in GW2, mostly in WvW, whenever I want to change direction to move left/right/ or dodge/use skill, the game doesn't respond to my keyboard strokes and I'll have to press it again to have it register my key strokes.

It happens occcasionally, but frequent enough to be of annoyance.

Want to know if this sort of issue happened with anyone else, because when I play minecraft it seems fine enough. Why I asked also is because my guildies had also mentioned something about their characters being stuck on siege after building it, but fine after a few seconds, which also happened to me before.

If it's my keyboard punya pasal, I'll try to do a thorough clean of the keys to see if that helps, else invest in a new keyboard, =\ My mouse was giving such lack of sensitivity issues too, all that was solved after getting a new mouse.

Homemade Sports Drink

Anyone here does their own homemade sportdrink?

The other day, I decided that I don't want to spend RM2.50 weekly to buy a 500ml bottle of 100plus at the court where I usually play badminton, and thus made myself my own 'homemade' sports drink. The ingredients I used are:

1 x lemon fruit
1 x 5g bag of brown raw sugar from Starbucks (cheapo alert)
~5g of himalayan salt
800ml water

After squeezing out the lemon juice, I chopped up the lemon skin a bit and added it to my drink container

Result?

The little lemon fruit was a heck lot sour than I thought and it was hard to drink it down as it is. The salt helped made it palatable, but I had to add in a bit of 100plus it make it easier to down it. Hence next round, I'm gonna use perhaps just half a lemon and see how it goes.

How about you guys? Any unique blend of recipe you guys use to make your own custom made drinks?

Ready Cut paper for 3D/Modular origami

It used to be a hot item back in my school days, that was a season and it was fairly easy to find a stationery shop which sells the ready cut 5x3.5cm rectangular paper.

Nowadays I hadn't seen any shops selling those sets of papers, any one knows where I can still find those ready cut papers for folding? I remember them selling in a variety of colours and at least it'll do away the hassle of having to cut them individually

http://www.papercraftcentral.net/2010/09/3...-chestnut-bird/

in case people aren't sure what I'm talking about ^

Thanks!
