USB headphone help

Just bought a new headphone, and silly me didnt check the connection turned out it was USB instead of the standard audio jack.
So i plugged it in and i could hear a faint buzzing nouse on my right ear.
While playing music or doing work it would go away but its still there nonetheless.
I did some reading that it is due to not proper grounding on the usb it is connected, (in this case, a laptop).

So any sifus can recommend any solution to this matter or i should just live with it?
I can think of these for now
1) Get a usb to audio jack converter (Not sure which one is good and would it solve the problem or not)
or any other suggestions would be appreciated
