Tweeters, Components, Coaxials..? What say you~?

Hello there guys...

The purpose of this thread is to voice out something that I've been wondering for quite some time. Simple research via Google gave me mixed results on foreign forum pages so I decided to post here to ask you fellow kaki ICE-ers...

Anyway, do bear with my curiosity and please take note that I'm not taking brands or any specific model of speakers into account.

So we all know about component speakers, coaxials and the other multi-way speakers and yada yada...

Now, assuming that someone wants to upgrade his/her speaker sets but do not want to go for a full blown component but wanting to experience the "feel" of having a component, would adding a tweeter with a passive crossover (salvaged/taken/stolen/whateversourceitcamefrom from a component set) that runs parallel with the coaxial do the job..?
Which makes that 2 tweeters (1 separate on dashboard + 1 from coaxial itself) and the midbass driver itself.

So.... What say you~?

So here's the thing...

I was going down to my condo parking lot this morning. I saw a fella who park beside me taking his car's floormat and put it on my bonnet. He dusted away the mat as if the the whole bonnet of my car is his own.
I approached the fella and gave him a piece of my mind and he just said sorry and drove away without taking any action to clean my bonnet whatsoever.

So peeps, what should I do next..? Spray black paint across the window..? Pour red paint on his car..? Get a bucket of cat poop (condo parking has plenty of stray cats) and put it on the windscreen..?

Rage right now can't think of any proper way to get even.

Motivation for ideas perhaps~?

Budget HU Advise Needed.

Hello there peeps of F&F ICE subforum,

Here's the thing. I have an aging HU that needs to be replaced soon.
It's a JVC KW-XC770

I've decided to opt for any of the following HUs as posted on the poll above.

Do give me an elaboration for your reason to pick your choice above and advise on which gives the best sound output.

Currently using the standard sound setup (front component + rear 6x9 coaxials). So I hope it'll be a simple choice for you guys to help me out.

Personal requirements are of the following:-
1. EQ for bass/treble
2. Separate volume adjustments between Rear / Front / Left / Right. <- Not really a priority.
3. CHEAP..? (Come on, average joe only lah)

PS: Any benefit if I were to change my rear coaxials to a triaxial..? Just a casual listener with my MP3 musics...
