Hi Sifus,

Need advice if this is a good built in terms of pricing and performance.

Graphic Card :GeForce RTX 3060TI 8GB
Processor : INTEL Core I5-12400F
Motherboard : Gigabyte B660M DS3H AX DDR4
Cooler : Paladin EX400 ARGB Cooler
RAM : 2 x GB RAM
SSD: GIGABYTE NVMe SSD 512GB + 2TB HDD 7200RPM
Power Supply :Antec CSK550 80+ Bronze

Total RM 5218 for this built.
Is this built ok ? I am not quite sure if I should upgrade that psu for something better to save more in long run ?

Also this is to upgrade from my current setup FX6300 + GTX960 (I am expecting to see a huge dif lol) and the mobo choice due to I need built in bluetooth for my headset and keyboard.

Broadband for Desktop Recommendation

Hi Sifu.
Long story short, I just move to a new place and I forsee that unifi /streamyx wont be available so soon as there is no telephone line yet in my place. Wanted to look for broadband that does not have contract binding if possible.

My usage is typical play games, youtube, download game etc. Anyone know is there any good broadband out there can recommend me? I believe currently there are no unlimited data plan for broadband right?

Keyboard Corsair

Hi Sifus,

IF you remember my previous thread. I ask for gaming keyboard recommendation.

I finally decide to settle between these 2 Corsair Strafe or Corsair K70 (non RGB)

But now I have some confusion about the K70.
As I search online, I saw there are K70 Lux, K70 Vengeance. And I understand K70 does not have the usb pass through, but some say the new k70 have this thing.

Anyone corsair owner or sifu can help me to clarify?

GTX 960 viable?

Currently I am using GT730 on my pc. Would like to upgrade to GTX960 (previously aim for gtx750 ti or R970x)but found out seems that GTX960 is much more worth it.

Would my current spec able to run?

AMD FX6300
MOBO 970 Gaming
Thunder M 520W

I expect the price to be around rm 800 to 1k or there are better GPU out there for this price? TQTQ

Disk2vhd Transfer Issue

Hi Guys.

I am wondering lets assume I am going to use Disk2Vhd to transfer a physical windows server 2008 to a Hyper V VM.
Once the transfer is complete, is there any drivers issue I need to take note of? Or I am wrong since Disk2Vhd is transferring C drive as well, that will meant all the drivers, patches, updates are included as well?

Need advice as I never done this before hehe.

(Just did a transfer from Physical Window 10 to Hyper V and it is success.

Would like to ask which Graphic Card works better with my rig? (did some research seems that R9270 is a bit better than gtx 750 ti in terms of performance, price, power usage too)

This is my PC spec :

MSI 970 GAMING

8 GB RAM

I understand that r9270 will works better as I am using AMD processor.
But I am not sure on gaming wise which graphic card have better compability, and also PSU 520 watt enough?

But I want to know that since FFXIV is not available in our Country.

If I have some matter and need to send my IC to them to verify to reset something. Is that okay to reveal that I am a player from other region ?

I mean if they know I am not from either EU, US, JP will they still allow me to play their game?

Hi all,

I am quite interested to play the game as the new expansion ( dark knight, flying mounts) looks cool .

but before that, I have some question though.

1. Since I am a new player, should I just buy the base game ARR and play first or should I buy the bundle together? ( I heard you need to be max level and complete the main story in order to access to the content of heavensward)

2. I have totally no experience and no idea where and how to buy this game via online. (some say greenmangaming but when I check the site, it says its not available in my region, need to use VPN ?)

3. Subscription fee how much will be if convert to RM? And usually how do you guys pay for the subscription fees?

These are my question currently hope I could get some help here, I already read the newbies handbook and currently updating the game and test it out in free trial first. hehe..
