He: IF I tell you something about me... at that 'time', would you still accept me?

She: What?! What are you trying to say? Is there something you're trying to tell me?

He: I said "IF"...

She: Why suddenly so suspense? Are you actually married??

He: No.

She: Then what is it?

He: From your reaction I can tell that you dont love me unconditionally.. Are you expecting that I'm perfect?

She: I never said that!

He: Yes but your reaction shows...

There is a new flexi rate car loan in Malaysia, and it's the only one of its kind.

Basically, it works like a mortgage loan - where you can dump in your money in a linked current account to offset the principal loan amount and benefits you in the long run by saving you from your total interest charges. Yes, Fixed Rate car loans do have rebates for full settlements but not everyone is able to do full settlement on a short period of time.

Most people pay their car instalments more than the actual amount, for eg. Actual monthly instalment is RM1135 but they will pay RM1200 or more if they have extra money in hand, agree? But the additional RM is considered as advance payment for next month's instalment and in the end, does not make any difference in the amount of interest they have to pay to the bank. But with a Flexi Rate car loan, anything that you pay in extra will reduce your total interest charges in the long run.

Seriously In love with a divorcee..

I've met this guy in July, he did honestly tell that he is a divorcee and he has 1 son, 13 yrs old. From what i understand, his ex-wife asked him for divorce because he made a mistake 2 years ago (cheated), although he have changed and try to make their marriage work, his ex-wife was not able to forgive his past. They just got divorced in May this year. When I just started dating him the first month or two, I asked him if they are going to make reconciliation.. He said 'she dont want me anymore, so i guess there'll be no more reconciliation in this lifetime'. So I thought it's ok for us to move on with our relationship.. He proposed on middle of August, but I said it's too early, there are so much things we need to learn about each other. Especially when my parents disapproved when they knew about it.. I said we can't simply take a shortcut like get married now then get parents blessings later.
Recently, he told me his wife want to reconcile and because they have a son together, and he is also considering to mend his previous marriage. But the thing is now he said he love me too much and wants me to marry him first before he even reconcile with his ex-wife! (Forgot to mention, he is a muslim. I'm not!) They don't have a date being set yet but from the discussion it looks like she is now willing to accept him back. Maybe it's love or maybe simply obligations... I dont know..
I feel like i should step away from this scenario... I have given him an ultimatum, that I would not be number 1, if there is going to be number 2.. And I definitely would not be no 2. I have been through several relationships before but I never felt like I want to marry my past bf.. Probably once before, but that was a broken-heart story.. This is the first time I felt like I really want him in my life for the next 50 years or so... To the extent that I am willing to accept his religion and accept his son, but I am not willing to live the polygamous relationship. I come from a christian background, where u really has the concept of 1 woman for a man, so this is way out of my imagination to handle. No offence to the religion, just that when it comes to marriage, I believe I deserve better than this...

[WTA] Average cost for ceiling+downlight?

Can anyone advise how much is the average cost just to get a ceiling + downlight done for a small size cloth shop with size around 300sq ft? I'm yet to find a contractor... Total newbie in this renovation thing... Probably 10-20 downlight should be enough. Area: KL (Near DamaiLRT: The new Keramat mall).

What should I do first with RM27K?

Recently I have been approved personal loan of RM27K. Initially I applied to settle off my PTPTPN black***t. But now I'm thinking of buying a property first, rent it out & use the rental money to pay for house instalment + ptptn bit by bit. But since I have never buy a property before, I'm afraid of ending up choosing the wrong property & end up in mess. Please all property expert here give me some advice in choosing a property. My preference is Ampang (Selangor) area, near LRT/public transport, near amenities, preferably below RM200K (condo) and size 900sf up. Prefer the monthly instalment to be below RM900. Moreover, I notice most of the properties in the advertisements are way too high than they're suppose to be. How can I negotiate on this prices? Can someone also enlighten me regarding the new 'My First Home' scheme launched by the government?

How to apply overdraft for small business?

My aunt wanted to apply personal loan to use as capital to improve her small business. She is only selling clothes in a 'pasar' area. She plan to move her business location to cheras downtown night market but she have to buy more stock to sell there. She also said she wanted to use part of the personal loan to close her other loans so in total she plans to take RM10K - RM20K loan.

I would like to advise her on taking overdraft using her house as collateral because her house is not under loan, it's under her own name. But she's quite sceptical about it, saying she scared if anything happen she & the family end up homeless.

Any further advise on this kind of overdraft? Or is there any suitable loan for her?

Is it safe to go jogging at KLCC park?

Ethical way to reject an offer?

Can we reject an employment offer sent to us if they already send softcopy of the letter to our e-mail?
The company is asking to do medical check up on 14th may and start work on 1st june.

The problem is there is another interview I would like to go on 21st may. The chances to get the job on this interview is quite high (I think) cos the HR called me so many times trying to arrange the interview asking me for a specific date for me to come and saying the the HR manager really interested to see me in person.

Please advise... I don't want to end up paying for the medical check up bills for the job that I eventually reject.

Interview at American Express

I received a call for Interview by Amex on Wednesday and arranged for an interview appointment on Monday morning. For my situation, I am working in Kota Kinabalu and I have to buy a flight ticket to KL just to attend this interview, which had cost me 400++ in the first place. Unfortunately regarding my flight ticket, I missed my flight and had to add another 400++ just to be able to go down to KL. To me it was a very important interview as I'm planning to move from KK to KL next month. The overall ticket had cost me 800++.

When I reached Amex monday morning I learned that first we had to fill up the interview form and write a short essay on 'Why Amex should hire you'... and after that go for the language assessment interview (verbal interview).
Then the person in charge asked us to wait 30 minutes saying that the interviewers are having meetings. After 30 minutes she told me that I was not shortlisted so I don't have to stay for the next session (the real job interview). So I braced myself and despite my disappointment, I went to another company to handover my copy of resume as I was job-hunting for KL area.

Suddenly somewhere around 2pm Amex called me again to come for interview but on the 'next day'! The arrangement really surprised me especially after they told me I wasn't shortlisted, and because my return flight was on the same day! To postpone my flight to the next day would cost me another 400++ just to pay for penalty and ticket price difference! I asked why isn't it possible to do the interview for me on the same day, she said 'the interviewer doesn't have time.' Then I asked again, how about the other candidates? (There were only 4 of us on that day). Then she said, 'The interviewer could only interview 2 candidates today.' So I said, 'if you can't arrange for my interview on the same day then I'm afraid I simply can't come for the next day interview.' I explained to her I came all the way to KL for this and already cost me 800++ and to add another 400++ for the next day doesn't seem right... (it wasn't a guarantee-to-get-employed interview anyway) Despite the cost, she only replied, 'OK, thank you for your application'.

If the interviewer can only interview 2 candidates for that day, why couldn't she at least give me some priority considering I have came all the way just for this interview? I have indeed double-checked with her before purchasing my ticket on whether or not the interview will finish in one day or requires me to apply for 2 days leave. She confirmed it was only one day... and then why she said I wasn't shortlisted, but then called me again to come... on the next day? I think the interviewer really don't know how to value other people's effort and time to come for the interview. They arranged for me to come, but they don't manage to arrange their own time management to do this interview for me properly. I was so f****g disappointed!!!
