RM1,500 range quad-core gaming rig ?

Hey guys and hardware enthusiasts, i have a nearly 3 year old core i3 2100 rig and i'm thinking of a slight budget update/upgrade to a Quad Core CPU. I'm gonna give my old rig to one of my cousin and only keep my nVidia GTX 460.

So can anyone help/suggest a good Quad Core rig in the range of $1,500? Up to now my GTX460 can still run many games at medium to high settings ( im not a graphic whore ) so i guess i'm gonan keep it unless there's a good budget card in the market now. I have no clue cos i've been out of loop of the hardware world since few years ago.

Finally advance thanks for any help i can get

Is this sound card better than my onboard Realtek?

So i bought a razer orca today and i saw a cheap sound card which is CREATIVE SOUND BLASTER 5.1 VX PCI. This card is rather old but i wonder if it was better than my onboard card? FYI , my onboard sound is Realtek ALC887.

I'm quite low on budget but would like to improve the sound so will i notice improvements if i just switch to that rather outdated and cheap Sound Blaster ? TQ.

Hi people, so my mouse kaput few days ago and was looking to buy either a Logitech MX518 or Razer Deathadder. I'm leaning towards the cheaper mouse. Can save some money for roti canai.

dpi not a big problem to me as i cant game with dpi over 2000. mx518 has 1800 max while i can adjust the deathadder to 1800.

The problem is MX518 has 125hz polling rate while deathadder has 1000hz.

Is it really a big difference for me to ignore the MX518 and get the DA ?

Is it worth it to buy an un-overclockable GTX460

Hey guys and maybe gals too, there's a fren of mine who works in a computer hardware shop near my area and he's offering me an open boxed, tested, Leadtek 1gb gtx460 at the price of RM399, BUT it's un-overclokable.

which means it runs at stock core 675mhz. Even a slight bump to 700mhz makes it unstable. But still comes with 3 years warranty though.

so do u guys think it's worth it to buy a gtx460 at that price? Need some strong opinions and TQ !
