Student Exchange Programme

I received the email from AIesec, informing me there would be a selection and interview process going on next week.

However i am still not decided yet shall i join the coming exchange programme or not, still worrying about the fees flight tickets that will be costing me. The administration fees of RM 450 is not really a big deal and to me, it is considered worthy IF i were going to pay for that ONLY. But there is still flight tickets fees and the most important thing is that food and accodomation is not a guarantee. For issue based internships, you are going to either select working with campaign, like say HIV/AIDS, Woman Equality or teach a language programme, etc .i dont care about the salary not being provided but at least what the most basic things for a not so well to do family like us --food and accodamation should be a guarantee to us, or else how can we afford to survive in an overseas land for 2 months?!

What other exchange could i look for? I am really interested to join the exchange programme to know and learn more culture and knowledge from people all over the world. but what could i do if the condition doesnt allow me to?
what is your view? hope those who went to exchange before could share your piece here, TQ!~

Greeting everyone, i would like to seek some opinions here, well, this is my case. I would be doing industrial training next year semester break, but i don't have any slightest idea on how to apply, which companies in mind, because i am doing a degree in biochemistry but i don't really favour the idea of working at the hospital or lab. So which companies at Penang should offer me a better prospects or so?I am looking at penang because it is where my hometown located , so woud be easier for me to travel there.
My lecturer told me we have to start searching and sending out resume , but i don't have any idea yet.Which companies should i be looking for and what should i be prepared when looking for an industrial training for 2-3months? Any advices would be much appreciated.

Temporary teachers

Hi, i am interested to become a temporary school teacher and would like to know how the application procedures going on?

schools often face a shortage of teachers going for Cuti bersalin, vacation, further studies etc, so they might as well need temporary teachers to take over the jobs. So if i were to apply for that temporary posting, should i be applying to Ministry of Education?

TQ.

Engineering better then science?

Hi all, i am currently torn down between the decision of whether wanting to venture into these 2 different fields, which are engineering and sciences.

what i mean in science is that those degree which entitled BSc like Chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, etc.

while for enginerring, it is usually a degree title which stated ' BEng'.

i don't know much where my interest lied on, but 1 thing i can reassure myself is that i will either go for Bioengineering like, chemical or biochemical engineering, or likewise science degree like biotechnology or biochemistry.

if i were into biotech, would i be exposed to the current tech as being adopted by bioengineering courses?

If i were into engineering, what kind of course structures differences would i have with that of with biotech?

I am interested more into application of science and would like to know what are the prospects for these two emerging fields.

thanks.
