They did not provide you any work station(PC/laptop) instead they ask you to bring you own laptop go to office to work....

Can hire staffs but can't even provide one cheap laptop for them?! What on earth is that?!

Not only me, there are few of my friends also facing the same issue.

Bugs causing client lost money?!

Hi all,

Let make the story simple,

1. Client requested a website/system involved payment transaction(ipay88/maybank).

2. System done and delivered.

3. Months later client found a bug between the payment process and causing them lost $$.

4. Client back to me and request a compensation of his lost.

So should I compensation him?

Problem on project refund

Guys I facing a situation which I need some advise from you all.

Situation as below,
8 months ago, my middle man give me a project. My task is program one of the module inside.
I done it in 2 months time and my part is done, payment received but the project is not yet close due of the 2nd module is handle by another programmer.
Now the problem arrived, that program is dragging the project with bugs and etc reasons...

Last week my middle man calling me and ask me to refund what I received and reason is because his client requesting refund as the whole project is delayed from the agreed time.
( Problem causing by the 2nd module's programmer )
I told him I wont refund because I done my part well and that my paid. But he said he can't do anything and insist me refund or meet in court because if he no refund, his client will sue him as well.
( I did not sign anything with him but he sign one agreement with the client and stated there "project will be complete in xx month" )

I want to ask should I refund? If I didn't will/can he sue me?

I just received my paycheck and already bank in.My maybank2u is stated 2 days floats.

Tomorrow I want to tender my resignation letter I worry if my boss will call bank and cancel the check?

Can he still do that? or he can't?

I got a check from my client. He require me to send him the software and codes now.
I already bank in the check and i am using maybank so from the maybank2u it stated 2 days float.

If 2 days float that meant the check is valid already right? Or the check owner still got the right to cancel it or will get bounce out maybe no money inside his account?
