Tldr:

- Moved out to new townhouse and no fibre port available
- Tested Hotlink Unlimited Data prepaid plan using friend phone and got nice result during peak hours
- Went to Maxis center want to subscribe that
- Termakan sales person advice to take Maxishit broadband 4G Wi-Fi (She said that the hotlink is slow/capped and if subscribe, Maxishit will prioritize me in the waiting list faster)
- Now, got 9-5 job required heavily zoom meeting and late night got online teaching class.

If want to terminate bcoz it's shitty line need to pay for the penalty. I know that I made a bad decision, but is there any /k/ advice?

Confused which job to pursue..

Currently taking BEng. Electronics majoring in Telecommunication Engineering.

Will be graduating soon on March 2020.

Until now, I'm still not sure the suitable job for this course.

Do you guys got any thought?

FYI, I've did my internship on telecommunication company but mostly they outsource to sub-contractor. Did nothing rather than management stuff.

I know some of the people will said, "Don't be choosy on your job, just take it asap when you got it.". But I got a bit curious on what else I could pursue

This morning, I got a call from Putrajaya office number.

An operator assistance said that this is from SPRM yow and ask me to press '0' to link to their staff.

So, I press '0' and then instant a Malay guy introduce himself said "Nama saya Azim Bin Hanafi, I'm from SPRM" . Soon, he wanted my full name but I refused.

I asked him what unit are you from, then he said "Unit Pencegahan Wang Haram dan blablabla harta...."

He then told me if you are <This name> and then I said no. I said wrong person and then he terminate call.

Having an issue which my iphone:

-keep reset again and again notice the battery drain really fast from 100% to 90% (<10 min) although I sleep the phone

Investment for student

I'll be graduating in around 2 years, expecting on Nov 2019. Most my friend who graduate who tend to have no money for their future saving.
Well, I did some couple of part-time job and some allowance saving. The total is around RM400-1000 per month (already deduct all those basic needs stuff i.e. food, hostel, etc).
Back to the topic, I have some serious trouble on saving since I keep upgrading my PC, buy some unnecessary stuff and online shopping that recently costly me around RM3-5k of wastage for this year.

I tried investing in gold around RM7-8k, and I found out it does not do well as my point of perspective compared to the fund investment i.e. Public Mutual and PMB Investment. So, I did sell out my gold for money (there's some left).
I kinda failed on my first investment, since the agent ask us to buy more more gold.

My dad keep asking to go on stock market, but I don't have that time to focus since I got class that are so pack and tough.

What else should I try? My friend is an agent on PMB Investment, he insist me to invest it up to 5 or 10 years.

Hello /k/. Currently I'm still studying in local university. Going to graduate in 2+ years more. I did some saving and part-time work (Basuh pinggan tbh, fastfood restaurant, etc)
With my saving, Is it possible for me to startup some small business with the model RM10k?

I didn't actually use the saving that much since I have seperate allowance so forth.
Previous experiences, I did some zero model business like selling kuih2, dropship agen and freelance designer. And yeah thats about it.

Thinking of something things that people always buy...

Splitting Electric bills for rent house

For the electric bills is around Rm75 (sometimes goes hundred). So the question is, what if one of the room want to use aircond? How do I split it fairly?
