Custom make recovery CD

Hi there, i wanna ask u guys about backing up my hdd and restoring it.

I'm looking a software that can make backup partition to cdr/dvdr and also make the cd bootable to restore it or what we call it recovery cd. I want to make like Acer or Dell recovery cd with custom make interface for restoring the partition. U know what i mean? Its just like if u buy an acer system then they will give also the recovery cd right? u can boot with the cd and have some menu/option to restore the system. So what software they make for that recovery cd? Is it Norton Ghost?

I really need this software becoz last time i'm helping my sister in law buy a new notebook to bring to oversea, after a month she called me and tell that the laptop infected by viruses, she really don't know how to handle this and i'm thinking if i can make a backup partition to a cdr/dvdr.

Anyone can suggest whats the best software? thanks
