Stolen card and hotel bookings

I have a question.
Normally if you tell the hotel that your credit card was being stolen and you did not make any bookings, shouldn't the hotel void/cancel the booking on the spot?

Because I went and did that to one particular hotel(dont want to mention the name of this famous hotel), informing them that I did not make such booking because my card was truly stolen. And this hotel told me that they could not cancel because the policy stated that no free cancellation can be made within 24 hours prior to the booking.

Does such policy truly exist??

I have a question. I usually check summons online, using myeg website. But can anybody share to me whether or not this method is the most accurate one?

Because I had a few experiences before, that I believed I was being flashed by aes but no matter when I login myeg to check it say I have no summons. 🤔🤔🤔

Is it because myeg is not always up to date? Or it was me who misunderstood that I'm being flashed?😖😖

need some advice bout tenant issue

Hi,

I've a problem with my neighbour tenant and need some advice.

I've started a music school in one shoplot, first floor, rented from an owner who's a doctor who owns the whole lot.
Ground floor and second floor(floor above me) was rented by the same person who opens a restaurant at ground floor. The tenant use second floor as their worker's hostel AND food storage PLUS KITCHEN! When i first rented the first floor, i'm aware that the ground floor and second floor tenant are the same person, and also aware that they are opening a restaurant which i think its fine by me. But i didnt know they were gonna use the second floor as their kitchen as well! And it causes smells and food stains on the whole staircase because the workers will be bringing food from 2nd floor to ground floor in order to serve customers! Plus they never seem to close the door on 2nd floor (maybe because of ventilation prob or what) and always let the food smell fill the whole staircase!

I've mentioned this to the owner before, regarding 'food should not be cooked on 2nd floor' coz it will affect my business (coz the staircase is the only access to my place), at first the owner told me that she'll come n see for herself someday, then i noticed the tenant cook lesser upstairs but still make it as a food storage, then after quite a long while, i bumped into the owner on the street and then she told me the tenant downstairs already making changes for this matter. but after a while, they continue back and now the staircase looks even more worse than ever.

i don't know what should i do, coz telling this matter to the owner doesnt seem helpful enough, and i'm afraid to make my neighbours angry... anybody has any suggestions?

Help!! I sort of ran into a dog yesterday midnight...

There's this little dog (I think its not yet a full grown dog due to its body size) wearing a collar with no tags wandering around my working area lately. Sort of a stray dog but with collar. A night before while i was driving my way home, i saw it and it look so cute i just couldnt help but stop my car and wind down my window to call upon that little dog. I hang my hand down from the driver seat and call that little dog, and the dog happily came to me, wanting me to caress it. But i instantly kept my hand back into my car because i suddenly remember that i cant simply touch animals as one of my family members are very allergic to animal furs. So i just look at the cute little dog from my car window and just enjoy the moment looking at the dog then i slowly drive away while the little dog tried to follow my car home.

Then the next day, after i finished my job, i walk to my car to put some bags and stuffs into my car so that i dont have to carry anything later when i go have my supper at a nearby restaurant. And i think thats why the little dog caught my scent and hide underneath my car i guess... After i finish my supper i walk towards my car and i wasnt aware that the little dog was underneath my car, behind one of my car tyre. And surprisingly, the little dog didnt bark or anything while i walk towards my car with all the car beep sounds and slammed door sounds and everything... Coz i really thought there was nothing around my car... maybe it was sleeping or something... but the next thing i knew, was when i reverse my car, it felt like i'm reversing to a road hump and i was shock. i tot somebody play a prank on me by putting a big piece of rock behind one of my front tyre. And when i'm fully reversed then only i saw that little dog.

the little dog looks like it got a cramp or something and then i saw blood. i was too shock and i got panic and i stayed in the car for quite a while then only i walk down from my car to look at it. and i found the little dog was coughing blood but still breathing. but i dunno what to do. then a worker from that nearby restaurant came and there was nothing he can do too. he told me theres a vet nearby but doesnt know if the vet was 24 hours, so i quickly drive to the clinic and found the clinic closed with no handphone number written on the sign. so i drove back to the dog and thinking it should've dead by now but when i reach there, the dog is still breathing...

it was middle of night with only one restaurant still operating nearby. and there was nobody who can help me... the worker from the restaurant ask me if i was buddhist or something, i told him i'm christian, and he told me to start pray for the little dog coz theres nothing you can do.. it felt terrible... and i dont know who to call for help... all i did was just staying next to the little dog crying while watching it breath shallowly, praying and waiting for the time to come....but i waited and waited and waited, the dog was still breathing...... and its getting late and late and i have to wake up early in the morning to open my shop for business... the worker that advised me to pray already went back home... in the end, i choose to go back home leaving the poor dog behind... i make a final prayer to it before i leave but it still feels very painful in the chest and i couldnt really get a good night rest....

today when i came to work, somebody has put the little dog's dead body on a black plastic bag and moved it to a tree nearby the sidewalk so that it wont obstruct other people to park cars. now i can see the little dog's dead body from my office window and i really dont know what to do about it.... i feel like burying it but this is a town, i dont know where to find a place to bury it.... can anybody gives me some suggestion on what should i do now..?
should i find a place to try and bury it or should i just leave the body like that? what should i do?
