Need an Advice - Rawang, Puncak Alam, Sungai Buloh

Hye beloved mates, lads, brothers and sisters here. I need a realist and smart advice here regarding buying a house for own stay, not an investment.

Preferred location would be around Rawang and Puncak Alam (or even Sungai Buloh). Reason, I am comfortable with Northern Klang Valley.

Of course, I understand and respect the majority of opinions here about the "completeness" and "superiority" of Southern Klang Valley when it comes to amenities, infrastructures, location wise, nearest to Cyberjaya / Putrajaya / KLIA and so on...

Currently, I am staying in Bandar Tasik Puteri, Rawang. I am planning to sell my current 2-storey terraced house before this end of year, with an EXPECTED profit of RM 70,000 - RM RM90,000.

My budget, anything below / around RM 600,000. So my question would be... Which project? Which developer? New or subsales? ** Note, I have kids to school right now.

I have surveyed and attended a few of showhouses

- M Panora by Mah Sing Group, Rawang

- M Aruna by Mah Sing Group, Rawang

- Halya 2 by Daunan Worldwide, Puncak Alam

- Caledonia by KLK Land, Near Puncak Alam, but it's in Ijok

- Amaya @ Acacia Park (Bandar Tasik Puteri) by Low Yat Group, Rawang

- Subsales, M Residence 2 by Mah Sing Group, Rawang (strata title)

- Orchid by Scientex, Kundang Jaya, haven't been to showhouse

- Myra Gardens by OIB Group, Kundang Jaya, haven't been to showhouse

- Templer Residence by Hong Bee Land and Emerald by Guoco Land, I think it's too expensive for us, but we LOVE the houses there I admit that.

Have asked my wife, SO FAR she loves Caledonia (new), M Panora (new) and M Residence 2 (subsales, but due to matured and proper strata status, and the house is ALREADY there).

M Aruna, based on Whatsapp Group, seems like aaa... Completed and still some NEW units, but still defects here and there, complained by the current owners who have just VP-ed.

Caledonia, seems like my wife doesnt' care about the 60 seconds walk to cemetery there. Literally, just walk to the grave.

Amaya @ BTP by Lowyat Group, Lovely house with landscape, BUT, BUT... Slab roof / square roof - Isn't that it is prone to leaking and the paint would be ugly after two or three years, am I right? Suitable for our weather?

Sorry, need more info here regarding this slab / square roof design.

Thank you, appreciate for you info, mates and lads here.

Your Programmer's Daily (Experience and Life)

** Hope other programmers also will share their experience...

I am getting a bit annoyed with the Malaysian programming jobs market... Not at the employers
but at what "people" are saying about the mighty programmers (including us here)...
The popular perception seems to be these programmers are over-paid already and I do not know any details about what caused the f**kin perception...

I give you a simple example. Do you know that in Dubai (the city in UAE for any idiot who
doesnt know where it is) - the normal programmer's monthly salary there after converted to Ringgit Malaysia
is around RM 7,800.00 ... A starting normal programmer!!
Whereas in Malaysia our good graduates who are working as a professional programmer also barely have a starting salary of RM3,000.00-RM4,000...

I was almost laughing when reading the blog or comparison between Malaysian programmer's
salary compared to Middle East (UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia) where they (the later) do earn almost twice of their Malaysian counterparts...
For example, I do consider myself as a good... No!! Even great programmer where I am more than capable to develop a
1. Web-based system in PHP, C# (ASP .NET) and JSP (JavaServer Pages) - Java EE (Enterprise Edition)
2. Mobile application in Android and iOS (Objective-C language) for iPhone or iPad apps.
3. Processing / backend system (like mobile SMS or file data processing) with Java SE (Standard Edition) and C#
4. And many more like developing the web with HTML, CSS, Javascript or any shits you tell me.

But hey, in 2014 (28 years old) my salary not even reaching RM6,000.00 monthly and I have
to do an extra freelance in professional programming (working at night developing the bloody system for anybody) to make it reaching that amount in a month...
Damn my life and I believe there are more ridiculous figure out there.

Start from now on, Im not going to accept any freelance below RM2,000.00 anymore. I do value myself as a professional programmer.
And yeah - can you imagine a businessman wants a website with the amount of RM800.00 from me? Owh just f**k off.
I will deliver a good and quality product but if you want cheap, go find an intern!

I do believe you all also might have your own bitter personal experience...

How To Force A Woman (Wife ler) To Be A Programmer

My wife is working as a Message Analyst in one of the IT company, the giant GLC...
Her job if Im not mistaken, is dealing and troubleshooting the EDI stuff, where
(might be) - Electronic Data Interchange powered by the Java Standard Edition
(Java SE)... I cant elaborate more as even myself as a programmer couldnt
understand her job into the details and I dont give a damn... But yes, it is
an IT position.

Its not easy for our life currently as her workload + her office location in a bloody
traffic jam area, totally KL-mess where you couldnt be comfortable even in
air-conditioned car during the peak hours... So, she is kind of has decided to quit
and find a new job where the requirement it must be a nice, peace and no traffic
congestion area... Heaven office. Where else I could suggest to her, Cyberjaya
for sure!! Its heaven where we could even think to buy a nice terrace house
in Nilai, Sepang or Senawang...

She then did some Google + Jobstreet-ing and aaa... Ah, f**k. NO "Message Analyst"
position according to her qualification in Cyberjaya... Then I told her, "Its okay,
just learn some basic programming and be a junior programmer, its already good
enough for you. Thousand of jobs are programmer by the way where you could
easily get a job"... But she doesnt want!! Not even listening and even said, "I hate
programming and want to do the same thing!!" ... Aahh... I was angry and wtf,
how on earth you could easily find a job that simply what you want???!!! What
a stubborn wife!!!

So, need advice. How could I can FORCE her to do a programming and love
programming? Sometimes I do believe we dont have to love what we are doing but
by using force and do it daily, we are going to be the rock star programmer, a f**kin
brilliant one like a genius... But how to force / deceive a woman to be a
programmer???!!! Aahh, seorang isteri yang sangat degil dan tidak mendengar
kata... Please, help me...

Different Interfaces In Xcode and IOS Simulator

Hye all.

Im developing an iPhone apps using an Xcode Interface Builder. But
the problem is the interface that I have built is different than the one
launched using an IOS Simulator. For example, let say the LABEL of
text I put in the middle position of the interface in Xcode, but later
in IOS Simulator (iPhone 6.0 Simulator), the LABEL of text is above
20-30px from the original one. Aarrgghh!!! Its killing me because I
though what I have designed, the output is gonna be the same. Please help.

Image attached.

Display Error in IOS Simulator
[attachmentid=3145416]

Original Interface in XCode Interface Builder
[attachmentid=3145417]
