Upgrade suggestion

Hi LYN forum, need some suggestions/recommendations on what to upgrade or keep for my ancient desktop setup.
Purpose of upgrade: Run upcoming games in High Settings and above.

Here are the specifications I could gather from dxdiag.exe:
Processor: Interl® Core 2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz
Mobo: Gigabyte EP45-UD3L
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX570
RAM: 4GB (forgotten what brand/model)
HDD: 1TB (forgotten what brand/model)
PSU: 500w (forgotten what brand/model)
OS: Windows Vista Home Premium (6.0, Build 6002) (32bit)

Sorry for the lack of information on the branding. The 'forgotten brands' are in good price range (when I bought it, that is ).
Any other information needed can be further elaborated/added.

MSI GTX560 Ti Twin Frzn II worth it?

Planning on getting the MSI GTX560 Ti Twin Frzn II soon. But is it worth the RM850+? Or should I get the ATi equivalent the HD6870 or 6850. (If I'm not mistaken.)

First off, I'd like to know if this GTX560 Ti can run Crysis 2 + 1920x1080 + Tesselation + Dx11 + (Any possible max settings) and still run at a smooth frame rate.

First of all, I'm not a computer junkie at all. So I'm not really sure what are the hardware's that are in my computer. I might want to consider upgrading my rig. My goal is to be able to get a stable/playable frame rate with High (not necessarily extreme.), Dx11 and 1920x1080 settings with games like CoD:MW3, Battlefield 3, Saints Row: The Third, etc. when they do come out. I have a clue of what I have in my computer. So I'll attempt to state what are the hardwares:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300
Gigabyte EP45-UD3L
Kingston 2GB DDR3 x2
GeForce GTS250 1GB GDDR3
1TB Hardrive
LG DVD Writer
500w power supply
Raidmax Ninja Casing
Samsung 23" LCD

Please let me know what I SHOULD upgrade in order to meet my requirements as stated above.
My budget is definitely below 1k. But if you have a suggestion EVEN if its above my budget, please state.
