Hi, i am getting a sapphire r9 290 tri-x and i will need to upgrade my PSU as well.
My budget is only 1.9k for both the PSU and GPU.
Also, the PSU HAS to be modular as the casing i am using (nzxt h230) is very cramped! i barely stuffed all the cables in place with the current PSU i have haha.
From my understanding i would need at least a 550W 80+ PSU is that right? and from what i've read, corsair and seasonic seems to be highly suggested.
But my budget only allows me to get PSUs below the >300 price range.

I am quite lost, please help xD TQ

living in pj area and just wanted to renovate the outside area as the fence currently is just a wire fence and the gate is like as good as not there.
want to do a fence for the front and side only as the other side already done up by neighbor (terrace house).
side length is about 2 proton wira sedan. and front just one side need fencing bout 7 feet. fence wanna do brick wall and painted and two holes/rectangles in the front fence.
not sure whether to get a sliding side-ways gate or outwards one, wanna pick the safest one but contractor say both also the same.
when we met for the measuring he did not bring a gate and auto gate motor brochure with him. until not he has not gave me any other options.

this is the price he has quoted me.
-fencing=2907.00
-3 nos tiong=1500.00 (what is this?!!)
-1 nos main gate door (iron) 12ft =3650.00
-Ahmad caber?!?!?=650.00 he claims this is a better cable for controlling and power the auto gate motor. and protection against lightning strike.
-demolishing and move stuff and clear rubbish=350.00
-painting work (maintain and fencing area) =rm600.00
-auto gate motor=1600.00

this is others that i may want to do but just checking see how much it would cost. and this is what he quoted me.
-upstairs brick wall 7feet=500.00
-1 nos open window c/W glass 4'*8' =850.00
-moving of air cond compressor=230.00
-drain cover with cement=500.00 (previously stolen by thieves)

What is nos? ahmad caber? and maintain and fencing area what does that mean? is it normally so expensive?

total in excess of 13k which is WAY over my small budget. 4 figure still manageable. even without the extras is still 11k

this contractor was recommended by an acquaintance. I know of no other. if you know any one that can do renovation within pj that would be a GREAT HELP @.@ this is my absolute first time and its too much!

Was just wondering is there any other courier choices to choose from?

bought books from amazon.jp and they sent via DHL.

the box was totally destroyed/opened and the books plastic packaging opened, and the DHL tape barely holding the box in place.

Thankfully there was no damage, just that in the future if i may purchase from them(amazon.jp) is there any other courier choices to choose from?

Anyone experienced this before?

I cannot imagine buying anything else if this is the norm for DHL @.@
