Some doubt on Y580

while i am monitoring on my 5-6 years old notebook "dying" condition, i am doing the research.. since many of the ppl in this forum suggesting on Lenovo Y580, i read more on this model rather than others, and comes with several questions in mind..

1) i read as Y580 have 2 specs, i7-3630QM & i7-3610QM, what is the different for this? this 2 models come with different GPU, GTX660M ( i assume is 1GB ) and 2GB, does this GPU different really play a big different?

2) Y580 and Y480, screen full HD or not become my another consideration. Does Y580 screen effect can nice show on HD purpose? What i trying to say is the HD effect which show on TV or even in Astro ( those football matches, ) I read in some articles, it really shows the different

3) while i am research on Y580, i discover Y400/Y500 is coming to the market soon in Oct 2012. Does u guys have any update on the price and available in malaysia market date? i believe u guys aware on the specs of this 2 models, base on u guys experience, this Y400/Y500 selling price will be how much ? much more higher than Y580 ( for example more than RM500 ) ? i just wondering does it really good for me to wait for it since i afraid it come to the malaysia market in late of Nov or Dec, and it looks like i cant wait till so long time.

i believe u guys read on this as i can use this notebook for 5-6 years, already know that i am a noob on this . I also still considering on Y480 and Y580 base on my budget.

Buying new notebook, budget RM2.5K to 3K

Guys, considering to buy a new notebook. Hopefully can play some games when i free at home ( but nowadays so busy, -,-!!! ).

Have any ideas?

My brother last year bought a Asus, when play the Football Manager 2012 will " hang hang " there, or directly error out... His friend's Asus also have problem, 1 year go for repairs 3 times, huh.... It just make me have less confidence on Asus....

Is Iphone 4 worth to buy?

I am planning to buy a new phone, of course now Iphone is so famous in the marke and it become my primary target....

But i was wondering, it seems like got a lot of the problem there, base on this forum, i can see a lot of the problems on Iphone now... but it also still a lot of the ppl hunting on it....

Can u guys make some after use feeling/ suggestion / recommendation on it? Thanks a lot for u guys advice...

Notebook repair issue

10 days before i sent my notebook for repair, due to the blue screen problem. I open the notebook and it will become " choose for safe mode and etc " status, and once u choose for either 1, when it want to go into the window it will be blue screen. And before this the whole keyboard space will be very hot after 1 hour i use the notebook.

then today, the shop sms me, said the notebook has been repair , " change the fan , BIOS & chipset , total RM 400, ready for collect"

the first point is i unhappy as totally no have get my permission and just repair it. From last week i keep calling and asking for " the reason of my notebook cant open", but keep saying is in checking and cant confirm with me.

then now just tell me is already repair and ready for collect, huh

my notebook is HP NC 6400, is that possible of the price of RM 400 as " change the fan , BIOS & chipset " ??

Hard Disk related to Power supply?

That day i went for ViewNet, then asking the part of Power Supply unit, for the Cooler Master Extreme 460W, the ppl there told me this just sufficient for my another spec 500GB hard disk, and it will be not able to support the hard disk more than 500GB if i have the future upgrade.. he said as next time want to expand my hard disk, can be 2 500GB hard disk only

He said if choosing Cooler Master Extreme 500W then will not have the above problem

Is it the truth?

Expert help to suggest on desktop 1.4K budget!

Hi guys, I searching for help from u guys as i planning to buy a desktop ( without monitor) with a RM 1.4K budget

Have certain level of demend on graphic card, cause may play certain 3D game

and on weekend will have the heavy use on it since no need to work, hehe...

friends are suggesting buy new Intel I-3 processor

is that possible for me to buy I-3 , not bad mother board with RM 1.4K budget?
