Recommendations for lenses?

//

I am going to buy Sigma lenses for Nikon.
Because I think it's comparatively cheaper.
And I haven't heard of any negative comment on Sigma with Nikon's body.
Any one of you has any comments about it?
Whether it is not suitable or it appears to have some minor / major problems?

Should I buy ::::::: (below)

-------------------------------

70-300mm F4-5.6 DG OS

--------------------------------

or

--------------------------------

18-200mm F3.5-6.3 DC OS

--------------------------------

The reason I wanted to buy a new lense is,
because sometimes I get frustrated when I have to shoot something further.
And I only have my 18-55mm and my little 50mm.

Haven't make up my mind is,
because 18-200,
I can take nearer and further object.

But..

For 70-300,
most of them have to be far,
and when I come to a nearer object,
it would look respectively huge!
but I can take object which is further than 18-200mm.

Give me some comments please.
Thanks.

//
