Unsafe removal of device when CD is inserted

How to solve it so that CDs will work on the player?

The "unsafe removal of device" message keeps popping up when I insert any CD (music, program, etc.) into the external DVD Reader/Writer device (Panasonic External DVD/RW DVR-P28)

If there is no CD inside, the device is detected and visible, no such message appears. The message pops up when I insert any CD.

PC specifications:
Pentium 4, 2.80 MHz
Windows 2000, Service Pack 4

I was told it is because of insufficient power supply from the USB 2.0 since it's a Pentium 4 spec. and that I should add power from an AC/DC adapter. I've tried adding a AC/DC adapter at settings 4.5 Volts / 500 mA, and 6 Volt / 500 mA to the device (and with the USB cables plugged in). But the problem continues and at times even cause the keyboard to "freeze".

I was not able to find an AC/DC adapter with 5 Volt on sale.

Thanks.

Why are we paying for voice mail? Just "hello"

It's ridiculous. Telco co. default people service with the voicemail. How many people really want it? When you call someone and the stu**d "Hello.."comes on the caller is being charged. And it's just mechanical. And anyone who doesn't use it should disable it! Be fair to people who call you. Enough is enough.

Questions:

- Must a guy always initiate a phone call, any invitation, in a guy-girl normal friendship or serious relationship?

- Does a girl calling a guy (for casual chat, not important matters) indicate anything, even if it is just for a normal friend?

Can I mix engine oil - on the label "W40-15" (Castro GTX) with "W50-20" (Dukham Green)? Say, if currently filled with "W40-15". During top-up can mix "W50-20" or the other way? Noticed that colour one is brownish but another greenish.

Any difference between "W40-15" and "W50-20"?

The other day, I noticed my car front right tire seems to have less air (but not totally flat). The other three still looks ok. Then went to fill air for all four - same pressure rate.

2 days, still ok.

Third day, while driving, felt a little off balance to the right . Check that front right tire a little flat (not totally) again.
