Connecting PC to 2 Speakers + Woofer setup

Basically I want to connect my PC to 2 passive speakers + an active woofer (A 2.1 setup bassically). I'm not sure if I need a receiver or just a stereo amp cause a full size receiver will be too big for my desktop. I'm also a bit confused with how the connections of the woofer actually work. Hopefully someone can help me to clarify things as i'm a newbie in AV equips :|. Many thanks!

How come my Hynix C4 can't OC?

Just got my pair of hynix C4 2x1GB today... It's Hynix OEM version, chip is with the usual ending code FP-C4... The RAM can't even do without any error when using Memtest @ 400Mhz / 2.2V / 5-5-5-15, even its stable enough to run normal applications. Do you need to do some burn in time with the ram?

Can anyone there who is using C4 post some stats and timings here to help me out . Considering that I saw some impressive results by some forumers here... Thank you~!
