Queries about job bond and its T&C

Hi all, I need some insights here.

Around 1 year ago, I joined a new company - lets call it ABC sdn bhd.
As this company pays for the certs and training needed to do my job, I was asked to sign a bond with ABC for 3 years, amounting to about ~RM30k.

Half a year later, the company spun off and sold my division to another company, so now we are under a new company/ entity.

1. I was never asked to sign a new bond under new company. So if I want to leave the company now, is this bond still legally binding? Am I legally required to pay it back?
2. Any tips on how to negotiate with bosses if they brought this up? I hoped it doesn't turn ugly or burn any bridges in the end.

And no, the new company is not willing to buy me out of this bond, but I really want the new job.

Many of the threads here is asking about pre-employment things like pay, benefits, culture, and doing due diligence before joining a company.

I specifically want to ask regarding post hiring.
After successfully hired into your current job, how are things down the line 3/6 months later as a new hire?

1. Did the job match your expectation before joining?
2. How accurate are the reviews of glassdoor matching your own experience in the new job?
3. Is your onboarding smooth? Did they guide or train you?
4. Anyone whose job / environment does not turn out as expected / mismatched, what did you do? Are you jumping ship again?

As for me, I am in consulting line. There are 2 things concerning me right now.

1. 4 months after joining, my company is now getting bought by another PE. I was worried about getting the axe, there's a lot of uncertainty and anxious feeling now.
2. Initially they sent me for training but after that I was getting benched for almost 3 months now. Asked manager but they told me assignments will come soon. I dont know what to do.

- Malaysian F&B operator and scammy marketing tactics berpisah tiada.

- From 9.9.
- Means only 1 single item is 9.9; most likely the spaghetti
- Put tons of restrictions on the offer.
- Rest of item prolly be like 19.9, 29.9, 39.9, not to mention all the +++++++ hidden charges. Also don't forget to slap big big words 'PHOTO FOR ILLUSTRATION PURPOSE ONLY' and you prolly get half the portion of what is shown in the pic.
- Just get ready to be chopped la.

Recently getting more & more triggered by this f*king statement "image for illustration purpose only" like it releases them from any and all accountability for misleading ads. See also 火撚滾.

weight loss and its supplements

Been practicing OMAD, cut from 85kg> 78kg. now hit weight loss plateau and floating between 77-79 daily.

Should I take some weightloss supplement to further facilitate this process? I want to lose more.

Can someone recommend which supplement best to take? the sheer amount of products I found online made me unsure which I should go for.

**As someone who loves to eat OMAD is the best I can keep going with consistency so please don't recommend me to starve longer e.g alternate day fasting.
Any further alt suggestions welcome.

Filling TP1 form

Hi, I about to enter a new job and the employer asking me to fill a TP1 form. I need some help here.

1. This is not mandatory to fill right?

2. Under section C- Claim/Deduction there is 2 column, Accumulate and Current - do they mean for this year 2023 / December 2023? - my previous company already deducted the amounts from previous payslip so i dont understand this part?

3. If I fill in this part now, next year when doing tax filing, do I need to fill up the same info again under Relief section?
Otherwise it seems easier to just not fill this and do the normal tax filing process next year?

4. If there are some expenses not incurred yet, how would I know how much to fill in the field, I'm confused.

5. Do I only need to fill up either Accumulated OR Current month, not both?

My previous company didnt asked me to fill TP1 form.

Help me evaluate a new job benefit

I just found a new job offer. However I am concerned on the medical coverage benefit offered by the company

Current:

Policy quoted in USD as they dont have business entity in Malaysia. Almost all illnesses and surgery fully covered by the policy. No limit that I know of
Medical checkup covered up to 1K USD
Dental up to 2K USD
Glasses covered up to 400USD + eye exam covered

Everything either direct billed to insurance provider or pay+claim.

New offer:

Everything quoted in MYR, follow local business policy

Medical
See specialist only up to 1.8k MYR
60k annually if hospitalized/surgery

Medical checkup covered up to 500 MYR
Dental + optics total only 1k MYR

As you can see, the medical and benefits side dropped a lot, I am trading this benefit for a 20% salary increase + slightly higher AL....is this a wise decision?
I do not like my current job anymore aside from this medical benefit it offered so I do look forward to the new job actually.

This year, I spent almost RM 7k in private hospital trips due to health issue and multiple follow ups, but this is an unknown factor on how many more health checks gonna happen in a new year.

Just now go and withdraw the money from Public bank atm, but the money didn't come out. And the machine just restarted with 'this machine is down' type of message.
Balance inquiry shows the money already deducted from my account.

Anyone experience this before, what to do? Call customer service just ask me to report to bank tomorrow morning.

Hi all, I just want to check, in the event the agent / developer is saying a few things to me

1. The booking fee of RM 2k can be refunded upon VP
2. Developer is providing some form of rebate or token as their sale package- XXX amount upon VP
3. Waiver of 10% downpayment

These are not/ should not stated explicitly in SnP agreement right?

If so, is there any kind of supporting document /receipt that the purchaser should ask for? because they can simply deny this at the time of VP right? If I don't have any evidence to support the claim, it's our word against theirs.

May I know what is the standard practice?

Unifi/Wifi issue on phone

Hi all, my unifi modem has been acting on and off lately. PON light wouldn't stop blinking sometimes. Now connection is ok on my laptop, but on phone, it shows connected but says 'Can't connect to internet' .
On phone, I can use FB and whatsapp (send receive messages), but cannot load any games or internet browser pages/ 9gag.

Anyone know what's wrong and how to fix?

-Nothing worthwhile on the app. Not even a standard meal deal with fries. Only those 1 drink and 1 burger/dessert. Absolute rubbish.
-Keep pushing for mobile order/drive through. Can't find any deals to be used at the kiosk/dine-in
-Point system in place but no incentive for user to use the app at all.

Hi I'm currently a consultant implementing Saas product in the social media industries.

I'm targeting to change to implementing HR product, and I want to go to HR system companies like Workday or Ceridian. I believe the job scope is similar- doing configs, user training, go lives, governance, reporting etc. It's just that I never used HR system before and not familiar with business use cases for HR, and I think that turns off many hiring manager.

How should I craft my resume content so that it can at least get attention from recruiter/HR?
