WTB Bluetooth Headset Ear-hook replacement

Just bought Joway H02 Bluetooth stereo hands-free headset from an online dealer, got it through COD since we met in terms to trade by hand. The ear hook looks fragile on both pieces came together in a set. While putting on, it was okay, after awhile it feels a bit tight and sore. So I took it out from my ear and the ear hook snapped on the hook edge. And the given extra piece was attached to it, used from day till night, charged the headset, trying to put back on whole adjusting the position of the hook, it snapped at same edge. Anyone selling these hooks somewhere in KL? I only managed to find online but I rather see the real product and trade it by hand (COD or shops).

[attachmentid=8270026]
[attachmentid=8270027]
[attachmentid=8270033]
[attachmentid=8270036]
[attachmentid=8270037]
[attachmentid=8270038]
[attachmentid=8270039]
[attachmentid=8270040]

***it may help other people facing same problem with the broken hooks trying to find spare part replacement, maybe it gives the dealers idea to bring some of these products in and sell it here.

Thank you, hopefully anyone willing to reply with available goods in stock.

Bluetooth Wireless Combo (Keyboard & Mouse)

Hi,

I had logitech K260 wireless combo keyboard & mouse and it's been few years since I started using it on laptop.

Now I've switch it to use it on my new desktop. Did some gaming, works Okay. But when playing video while doing something on MS Word, the the Bluetooth connection seems to be connected and then disconnected... What I mean is sometimes only mouse responding while the keyboard lagged on responding about 10 seconds approximately.

I did go to the shop where I bought the desktop rig, the person who attended me advised that I should try changing other keyboards and see if the problem happens again.

I took his advice and went to buy Logitech MK520r, which is one of combo i was looking for. Tried a couple of days and somehow the problem still around. I suspected something is wrong with the motherboard the PC shop guy recommended to me.

Playing games no problem. Only when I'm using Adobe Audition, Adobe Premier, Avid Pro Tools, MS Office, and some programs for work.

How come? Motherboard? PSU? Anyone expertise or experienced in this issue?

GTX960 3D Vision

Hi,

Currently i have a gaming rig with Leadtek GTX960 GPU, also recently i bought 3 units of BENQ GL2460HM monitors for Nvidia Surround and work purposes.

I knew the GPU card has 3D function. I tried to select the 3D vision option on Nvidia settings and came with a wizard stated i need a pair of 3D glasses and calibrate with the wizard.

I'm a noob about 3D stuffs, I was wondering if my monitors can support 3D vision, can't it?

I've surveyed about the 3D glasses. Some sold cheap for cinema use and some very expensive and comes with battery of something.. Like I said I'm noob for this, so anyone who's expertise in this stuffs please give advice, thank you!

Need investor to fund my scholarship

Greetings,

Hi, my name's Andy. I'm 33 years old and currently unemployed. I am looking forward to have someone who could be very understanding and willing to help a person like me, to achieve something I could but only need financial support from others. It may seems that my words are not convincing to you, just because I started this topic and somehow you may get the idea I was trying to scam your money. Please let me explain the reason why am I writing this topic.

I am pursuing to be an Audio Engineer. I have no educational background on audio field and all the while I learn all the audio studies by myself. I composed my own music, remixes. I worked before a few audio related companies. But my main dream is to go overseas to pursue a better quality opportunity which I can learn and work as a better audio engineer than locally. Not that I am being bias to the local industry, maybe because I have not been given those kind of opportunity, so I decided to find some alternatives, and it's been months that I don't even find a single job opportunities out there.

Honestly, my future has already been broken many years ago, I got bankrupt due to not paying my car loan, I'm blacklisted to Maxis. So by all means, I can't make loans for house, car, or studies. I don't even own a credit card. I'm just nothing for finance. If I am going to clear the mistakes that i have done, I probably going to waste many years until 40 plus, then that is when I get to start over. I really do need money, and I will work for it. But chances to get higher pay job, or the time given, it's way too short, or I am too late to get things right.

You may ask why I don't look for family, relatives or friends that could help? If I do get those help, I wouldn't want to embarrass myself to start this topic and share my pain with you, if you think likewise.

So along the job hunt, I found an opportunity which I may secure my future. I found this opportunity from The Star newspaper, says that working on cruise that gives a promising career and future.I was curious, so I went to meet the person I called from the job advertisement. And so, he explained almost everything that I need to know the requirements for the job. I do expect a catch from the offer, and lastly he explained that I need to go through a training course for 4 months and practical for at least 4 months, which i doubt that I need to go for practical, as I have enough experience to on board as a waiter, and 2 weeks of government training for marine safety. He gave me a text message contained the training course website and the cruise job opportunity with some details for understanding how cruise recruitment works.

Lence Academy - Hospitality In Cruise Management
CRUISE SHIP JOBS

After I left, the idea of joining was clouding in my mind. I do have a friend, but not a close one, who is available to share his opinions about the offer. He said i should be asking the cruise to support my scholarship and the fees will be deducted from my salary in monthly basis. However, these ideas may have been used for many people around the world, if this work out before, may not be happening again. I believe someone who used this advantages and abused the rights or such, so the cruise companies well aware that nothing comes free for a good thing. So my friend added, there might be some other ways, that I should try to find. I did quite some time for the research, and mostly I found was most of the cruise companies, they partnership with the agencies for the recruitment responsibilities. At that point, I know I still have to go through some training or courses, and I can't afford those fees.

Lastly my friend added that the academy should have a program that I take the course first, then when I work on board, the fees will be deducted from the salary monthly. I don't think this is possible, if any academy would be very generous to me, and for the rest of the people who will ask the same. Like I said, nothing comes free for the good thing.

For other details, many scams of cruise job employment were reported. So the recruitment grown strict, and all sorts of like shortcuts, such as training on board, work without credentials, no proper documents to support the job applications could not be used as options to get myself employer on cruise jobs. What gives me the thought, this Lence academy will surely help me get on board if I go through all the courses and trainings, provided someone funded me. But the maximum age is at 33, and I am at this age, a last chance to redeem myself to seek for better future.

So I learned about the payment for the courses, like the person I spoke with said, it's a whooping total RM13,500 (a promotional amount, original amount is RM24,000). The courses cost RM9,000, while the government safety trainings and supporting documents to be on board will be RM4,500. First, I have to register myself at RM100 for the "lock-in" promotion. In ten days, I should decide which month that I should enroll myself for the academy, with additional RM500 as deposit. For the balance of the courses, as following:

There are options for the payment:
-Cash=I don't have any of that amount, so this will not be my option.
-Credit Card=No friend of mine has a whooping RM15,000 credit amount in his card? If they do, the installment plan has to be executed for 24 months, and at least I could pay him back at RM600 monthly till the debt is clear, but of course, once I got recruited, it won't take more than 10 months, so to speak. But I don't have a friend who's rich.
-Installment=for the first month as I enrolled myself, the amount I have to pay is RM3,000, that is 2 months x RM 3,000 + RM2,500 in third month, that adds up RM8,500 for the courses. In the fourth month, I have to pay RM2,500 first for the government safety training, which works as a booking fee, as following month will be the balance of RM2,000. If I could earn RM5,000 per month, striving to pay the courses fee. But I am jobless.

The courses will be on Saturday and Sunday, not very sure by the hours. At this point, I may have chances to get a job to support my expenses, but I have no idea which job only work 5 days a week that is suitable for me.

So how do I look for RM13,500 to pay for the courses? How do I pay back when someone willing to invest?

Okay, if you willing to take out RM20,000 to do business or investment, most of the faith you have is to make good money out of it, right? I can make that deal for you.

What I learned about the job, I have to work on board for 6 months by contract. The salary is paid in USD. So for the starters like me, as a waiter on board, my earnings will be at least USD2,000 monthly, including basic salary, fixed tipping and personal tips. When I am on board, I have nothing to spend on food and accommodation, everything on the cruise ship is free, for food, drinks, etc. So by right the calculations for 6 months x USD2,000 - USD12,000 x RM3.15 (average conversion), I have savings at least RM35,000 when my contract ends. I won't be going only for 6 months, after 2 months of leave, with a new contract, I will be on board for another 6 months with increment. And I may make myself a career out of this opportunity.

So this is how it works when someone like you willing to fund the courses for me and the way I get your money back.

-If you willing to help me funding in cash, credit card or installment, I will pay you back at least RM500 monthly during my courses and training period. Let's say I did the course by 4+4 months x RM500 = RM4000. Balance of my debt on your funds will be RM9,500. When I get to on board to work, I can pay RM5,000 back to you by online bank transfer for the first month. So the following month I will still pay RM5,000 back to you with the same method. So I already paid you back originally full amount, right? But I did mentioned about a deal I should make to you, and I am sure I am looking for an investor, not money lender. So if I asked you to fund my academic scholarship for the cruise job opportunity, I am willing to pay an extra 50% to act as interests of the original fund. So which means, RM13,500 + 50% (RM6750) = RM20,250. So by right I should pay you another RM10,250 for your investment, am I correct? That is additional 2 more months to clear my debts to you. But the time usage maybe be long, as in 14 months.

Like I said before, I target myself that if I only go through 4 months of courses, no practical and straight on board working, I will be paying you back in this order:
-4 months in courses x RM500 = RM2,000
-3 months on board x RM5,000 + 1 month on board RM3,250 = RM18,250
-RM2,000 + RM18,250 = RM20,250

At least, 7-8 months to get back you money, plus interests for your investments.

Look, I am not giving you a business opportunity to make a fortune, I am looking for someone who knew how hard to get a good life, and he has succeeded and willing to see and help those who are in needs. And of course, you deeds won't be going to waste as I could make a deal so you could earn extras in several months. It may not be a big amount, but all I could afford was all from the efforts I could give.

If you have free time, need to hear more of me, without obligations, you can call me at 017-6686610, or email me at munkiiedude@outlook.com. I'm around Klang Valley, have no place to stay (been camping in the car), still looking for average pay job and hope to find a serious investor. We could talk more and see what conditions you have in mind that both of us could agreed on.

Thank you for your time reading this.

-I am not looking forward for any trolls, any disputes from people who are not into this serious matter. Thank you.
Good Paint for Dog Cages

Hi,

I'm currently helping out my friend's mom who is an NGO, taking care of cats and dogs. She was looking for a specific paint for the dog's steel cages. Normal paint won't work well because of the dog's wee is corrosive and in time the cages will be in rust.

I did my research on a type of paint called epoxy paint, mainly used for the industrial field like silo, bridges, underground pipes, and even dog kennel. The epoxy paint could last longer time than any other commercial paint.

Alternatively I heard from my friend's mom said the marine paint could be useful to prevent the wee corrode the steel cages.

I'm not very fond at paint stuffs. Anyone done any research on this? She has more than 100 dogs and many cages needed to be painted so the cages would last longer and save money of replacing the rusted ones.

I appreciate it if anyone has any idea, or better.

Thank you.

Operating System Not Found after BSOD

Greetings,

I have issues getting my Acer laptop boot up today. Here's the scenario of how it happened:

Yesterday night I was putting on a gameplay walkthrough on Youtube and was on fullscreen, so I fell asleep then this morning woke up, the full screen youtube was there, so after awhile BSOD came up all the sudden. So I restart my laptop, and after the main "Acer" screen, it went black screen, the HDD indicator wasn't blinking.

So I used my friend's laptop to check out solutions online, and somehow found an advice to remove one of the RAM out from the slot and let the other one inserted and tried to boot up the laptop. After the "Acer" screen, it states "Operating System not found".

It happened to me before previously, about 2 years ago, and I used the Acer Factory Default Disk to reinstall everything, no doubt that I lost my personal files from the HDD, I have done back ups earlier on external. So I tried to use the same method again, put in my Acer Factory Default Disk DVD (it came in 2, as I already created) and let it run, still it states "Operating System not found".

I remember last time my friend told me that his laptop, that I am currently using it now to create this topic, used to have a HDD failure, and he said that there was an indicator informing you about the HDD is failing. So again, I went to check online to find more information and some people did encounter the same problem as mine regarding HDD failing. For my case, there was no indicator about my HDD failing and it died completely, as I presume.

I would need to replace to a new hard disk, a better one. But the question is, the laptop I bought has it's own operating system installed, and no DVD or anything like XP has OS installation disk. My Vista OS clearly legal with original serial number, still intact at the bottom of my laptop. I have Acer Factory Default Disk, could it be possible to install or restore the OS on the new HDD? At this point, I haven't found any solutions.

Please help on this major issue. Thank you.

Upgrade Sata to SSD

Greetings,

My laptop already 6 years old and I have intention to upgrade some of the parts.

I've already done upgrading RAM to 4GB and yes I know, it runs in 32-bit OS so I get to use 3GB max RAM.

Now I am thinking to upgrade the hard disk to SSD. I'm pretty sure this would help to speed up everything that it wasn't before.

I did my research on cloning the whole old hard disk to a new one, got the infos. Now the problem is, someone from other forum did mentioned that I should check if my laptop really compatible to use SSD.

I am looking forward to purchase 256GB SSD, and I have no idea which brand will be compatible to use on my laptop.

Anyone here knows or experienced this? Care to share?

Thanks.

Laptop Spec:

Aspire 5584WXMI
Intel Core 2 Duo 1.83GHz
Intel GMA950 Graphics
120HDD ATA (old one)
1GB RAM (upgraded to 4GB)
(and common specs like DVD drive, bluetooth and wifi)

Studio Monitor Speaker Stands

Greetings,

My manager was looking for Studio Monitor Stands, I supposed he needs 3 pairs of stands for 3 recording rooms, currently the studio monitor speakers are on the desk. However, while he has the purpose to buy, I think it's a good idea because the monitor speakers are too near to me, I need it loud but too near the sound piercing through my ears.

Anyways, we are pretty much occupied at work, all day long in the office to meet deadlines. We have weekends but my manager is from Korea and I don't think I would want to spend time browsing for the stands in KL for him, or with him (Weekends rest day, no outings). I tried to locate from the Audiophiles threads and found nothing about studio monitor stands.

So, I was wondering if anyone here dealing in Studio Monitor Speaker Stands (hardware) that supports from the floor till height a little higher than normal desk high, sort of? As well as can the stands be delivered directly to my office.

I am inquiring for this if there is a possibility. Any positive feedbacks will be much appreciated.

-If there is POSSIBILITY that I can order the stands and complete delivery at doorstep, kindly recommend any shops you know does the service.

Thank you.

First month's ridicule payout

Dear readers,

currently i'm in vain to accept a job offered by a Korean Company. At first of course i'm interested when i first saw the job ad. i went for the interview and got different information regarding the pay, which is much less than expected. however, due to gaining experience (in my pilgrimage venture), i waited almost a week to get confirmed for hired.

so yesterday evening i received the call, wasn't much information due to not well verse in English (Korean guy), so he email me with all the salary and benefits details.

what i discovered that if i start work in the beginning of April, i will received my salary at the end of May.

that means i'll be eating mud or sand (a joke) on May before i get my salary.

I'm partly giving in, but now i need you readers opinion. i have my plan B, but this plan A... simply ridiculous for first month's work.

anyone reading this could possibly shout out a good advice? plan A or plan B?
