Hello all,

Happy CNY! Just a few questions to ask in regards to router. Hopefully the sifu here can answer.

I am currently using a 5mbps unifi package with their default modem and router.

1) I am getting a download speed of around 500 mbps (torrent). Assuming that I am on wireless network and with the same position of the router and laptop, will I be getting a higher speed if I change to a more expensive/better performing router (e.g. Asus RT-AC68U)?

2) I am not able to detect any signal when I am around 25 feet away from the router (no obstacles in between). I believe that my default router is not powerful enough. Can someone recommend me a better router or perhaps another solution? On average, there will only be 1 - 2 users.

Ripping songs from a CD

Hi guys,

I have got some original CDs and would like to rip them while maintaining high quality of the songs.

I tried ripping the songs from the cd through windows media player... and I the format of the songs is .wma and the size is around 3mb. The quality of the ripped songs are much lower than the CD.

I want the ripped songs to be as high quality as possible. Thank you...

Problem opening excel 2010 file with excel 2007

Hey guys,

I am currently using Microsoft Excel 2007 and I bought this book for Microsoft Excel 2010 and it comes with some sample files which I believed are made using Excel 2010. File format is .xlsx.

However, I have trouble opening the files from my Excel 2007.

Am getting the error "This file was created by a newer version of Microsoft Excel and a converter is needed to open it. Do you want to download the converter from the Microsoft Office Web site?"

I believe that both excel 2007 and 2010 are using the same format which is "xlsx". How do you overcome this problem? I clicked on the link and it brought me to this page

So I have booked a flight ticket with AirAsia for a certain person. I included the person's christian name which is not stated in the passport or IC. I have already web check in for that person.

Would AirAsia refrained the person from boarding the flight?

Okay first of all serious answers please.

How do rich people become rich?

Based on what I know and everyone knows, owning a successful business is the way. However, does working for someone and not possessing an exceptional technical skill allow one to be super rich as well? Impossible right?

And also do rich people that owns a successful business has to be an extrovert person & has a huge network as well? Or are you able to succeed in life without being extrovert and owning a huge network.

I'm an introvert person with a pretty darn small network. Is it a must for me to change in order to be successful in my career. When I say successful, I mean money wise.

What job am I looking at?

Was in the car browsing through facebook, and then stumbled upon a video regarding an innocent lady who got shot 5 times late last year.

I'm just wondering what job can one take on to reach out and help out the community who is in need of help and justice. I guess politics would be the best answer because a lawyer would be out of the context as I did not go through any law degree etc. I stumbled upon Sukaham which goal I guess is to help the community at large.

Or maybe there are other jobs beside the above mentioned ones which will enable one to help the community. Feel free to state your opinions. How do one get into those jobs? What are the qualifications required?

And also pay wise. No matter what for me, money is important as well, how's the pay wise for those in politics, not the corrupt one of course.

Finding for a game title of PS One! HELP!

I'm searching for this game in Playstation 1.

I can vaguely remember the game itself but i feel very restless and am trying hard to find out what game is in my head.

Basically its an RPG game, like those Final Fantasy 7,8 and 9 type. The main hero can transformed himself into a dragon.

And the one that i was playing if I am not mistaken is the 3rd or 4th installment of that series...

I THINK, its called dragon something something ...its definitely not dragon quest ...

And you can transform into a few types of dragon.. i think got 3 or 4 types..

hopefully one of you guys can give me an answer soon! really mang already . lol

Hey guys..

This thread is mainly about the sales division of public bank (SME - Housing and commercial loan)

There is a shitload of Public Bank threads regarding its sales department. I think about 90% or more than that is negative comments about PBB. But how about other banks?Why are there so little threads about other bank's sales department? Is it because the number of people hired in PBB overwhelms the number of people hired in other banks? Or somehow its just a coincidence that this forum's users who are working in sales department of a bank is from PBB? Or maybe I am not searching the forum well enough.

Anyway just a quick question, how is Public Bank's loan (housing and commercial) compares to other banks? Which banks loan are more sought after?

And also as a newbie in sales, how do one sells the company's products if its not as good as other company's? What other factors determine the success of the sales?

Okay based on the price and specifications, I feel that the Asus notebook worths better. Correct me if I am wrong. My reasons are because of the Video card and also the processor of the Asus notebook compared to the ones that Dell has. And what Dell has which is better than Asus is its memory.... Does the additional 2gb of memory of 1333mhz plays a huge difference? As far as i know Memory(Ram) is better than Processor in a certain way.

So yeah am here just wondering which is the more superior notebook in terms of value?

Hello guys,

Dad asked me to help him choose a notebook. Purpose is to actually surf net i think. He hasn't used a computer before till now. So yeah .. not sure why he wants. lol...
Mobility is not that important.. Notebook do not have to be ultra slim and all. Budget would be around rm3k below...

I came down to a few notebooks after viewing a few threads in this forum. There are so many notebooks out there.. So hard to compare T_T . Please forgive me if the information that I gave below is wrong.

1) Dell Inspiron 15R
2) Dell Vostro 3500
3) Acer AS4741G
4) Asus A42JV

All the notebooks above are in the Rm2200 - RM2500 range. I think the main factor that would help me to decide on the laptop is good battery life and produces the least heat.

Please feel free to recommend any other notebooks which I did not list down in this post.
