He added that 30 frames per second "feels better" and allows the developer to "push the limits of everything to the maximum."

Nicolas Guérin, World Level Design Director on Assassin's Creed Unity, recently spoke with TechRadar about running the game at 30 frames per second. He said that part of the decision to lock the framerate had to do with giving the game a "cinematic gloss," which was already hard enough to emulate at 30 frames per second.

"At Ubisoft, for a long time we wanted to push 60 fps," Guérin admitted. "I don't think it was a good idea because you don't gain that much from 60 fps and it doesn't look like the real thing. It's a bit like The Hobbit movie, it looked really weird."

He also pointed to the Rachet and Clank series, which supposedly dropped the 60 frames per second standard. That said, he believes that the gaming industry on a whole is dropping the mission to achieve 60 frames per second because it's twice as hard to achieve. And in terms of rendering quality of the picture and image, 60 frames per second isn't all that great, he indicated.

"It's like when people start asking about resolution. Is it the number of the quality of the pixels that you want? If the game looks gorgeous, who cares about the number?" Amancio said.

News of the framerate lock arrives after Bethesda revealed a way for PC gamers to alter the framerate in The Evil Within by using debug commands that can alter both the framerate and aspect ratio. However, the game, according to the company, was meant to be played at 30 frames per second and is locked at that rate on the consoles.

Do we really need the game to run at 60 frames per second, or will 30 do just fine? Keeping a game at the 30 frames per second limit supposedly allows developers to cram more into each frame, which means better visuals for gamers.

As for Assassin's Creed Unity, it will be made available on Windows PC, the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 here in the United States on November 11.

Selling my Onkyo PR-SC5508. Bought a display set from Hwee Seng directly. According to Hwee Seng, item was a display unit, never used. Came with 3-month warranty from Hwee Seng starting from date of purchase. I've never had the chance to use the unit yet, cancelling my AV project due to personal reasons.

This is actually for my wife. She used to take Herbalife back when she was in college and she wants it again now since she has been gaining weight. I seriously don't want her to mix with the Herbalife circles because I simply hate them. Plus it is not cheap at all. She does not really have the time to go to gym for workout. Please don't advise me on eating healthy and skip shakes, let's just say that I've tried telling her all that and we ended up quarreling. So there. I appreciate your replies.

Hi guys,

I've been digging multiple forums about TOC for quite some time now and i finally have some money to enroll into DAT course. I'm paying for the course myself and I would really appreciate if you guys can provide as much input so that I won't be dumping my savings into the drain.

Reason I choose TOC is because I am rather impressed with the facilities and the collaborations with car manufacturers and the facilities that they have. However, I've been reading around the net and found out that those are more of a marketing gimmicks and is not even half true. That was quite some time ago and I wonder if that is still the case today. Another thing is that it is quite near to my place.

Here and here are some of the things I found on the net about TOC.

I would really appreciate inputs from ex-TOC students, current students and others who has experience/stories about this college. If everything goes well, I will be registering for this upcoming November intake.

Q: Why DAT?
A: I originally wanted to take DMS but it is too expensive (the most expensive course). I did not choose DAE because I am not planning to become an engineer or work in a manufacturing plant. I just want to be a mechanic, a proper one. For me, a proper mechanic saves lives like doctors. I can't stand blood, but don't mind oils, so I choose this way

Hi guys..

I'm gonna need some real advise here, targeted mainly to Malays from the East Coast states (Kelantan/Terengganu/Pahang).

I have a situation here that has been making me crazy for a couple of months before up till now. I have a girlfriend and she's from Pahang but her family is strongly influenced with the tradition and culture from Terengganu. We've been having this relationship for almost 5 years now and I have finally have accumulated some cash to marry her, but it's not much though..

I have spoken to my mom regarding this matter and she asked me to ask my girlfriend to leisurely ask her mom how much the dowry's gonna be. However, she said that they want me to go and see them to speak about this. My girlfriend now is staying with her uncle/aunt in KL and her parents is back in Kuantan. I told that to my mom but she said that it is not supposed to be like that, if I go alone to meet her parents and propose, it is considered as rude (in my side people says "tak beradab, macam takdak mak bapak". So I'm really confused here and to be honest, I just want to get this over with and i seriously despise some of the ritual/procedures/traditions that burden the bride/groom in this marriage thing.

I want to make this as simple as possible. I'm not from a rich family and we've been suffering these years because of the dowry alone. I'm glad we still manage to keep our relationship "clean", but seriously, if this goes on, we might just go and get married secretly..
