Hi all,

I'm purchasing a double story corner house in Ipoh. It's a new house and it's now still under construction. Date of completion expected in 2 years. It has a promotion that mentions "Free SPA Legal Fees". The information for this purchase are as below:

Property price : Rm 373,320
MoF : 80%
Loan amount : RM 306,490 (including MRTA premium)

Professional charges quoted by the lawyer firm (SPA):
1) Land Search : RM 80
2) Stamping - SPA : RM 40
3) Registration Memorandum of Transfer : RM 570
4) Stamp Duty on Transfer : RM 6470
5) Miscellanoues, Travelling, photocopy, courier, postage : RM 100

Professional charges quoted by the lawyer firm (Loan):
1) Facility Agreement : RM 1816.80
2) 1st Party Charge : RM 200
5% Government Tax : RM 100.84

1) Stamping of Charge : RM 40
2) Stamping and stamp duty for Facility Agreement : RM 1565
3) Stamping of Statutory Declaration : RM 20
4) Land Office Noting fee and registration fee on Charge : RM 110
5) Bankruptcy search : RM 12
6) Land Search : RM 80
7) Affirmation fee on Statutory Declaration : RM 10

Please advise if these charges are reasonable. Furthermore, since I'm buying a new house under construction, are all these items applicable?

Can't boot up Dell D620

Hi,

I have a Dell D620 laptop with 1gb memory and intel graphic cards. The laptop worked fine on 26 Dec 09 (I tried online at Mid Valley and it was ok). When I went back home, I took off the battery and keep it separately.

However, today, when I put the battery back on and press the power button, the Power indicator, caps locks indicator, scroll lock indicator and num lock indicator lights on for around 10 sec simultaneously and then it just went off. When the lights went off, the whole system also doesn't have any activity, as if it has shut down. There is no sound of fan or hdd. The screen was black all the time and there is no image shown.

I tried to switch on using power source only (removing battery) and the laptop still won't start.

Appreciate all sifus help to solve this. Thanks.

Hi,

Saw specifications of E72 from GSMArena. Looks very promising to be the next star after E71. Anyone has details on arrival of this model to Malaysian shores and the pricing for it?

Updated from E71 with 5 mega pixel camera...
