KUALA LUMPUR, 20 November - Seramai 16,951 remaja perempuan berusia 19 tahun dan ke bawah yang tidak berkahwin direkodkan hamil bagi tempoh 2020 hingga 2024, menurut Kementerian Pembangunan Wanita, Keluarga dan Masyarakat (KPWKM).

KPWKM mendedahkan angka itu berdasarkan data Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) yang direkodkan di fasiliti kerajaan, susulan pertanyaan Ahli Parlimen Mohd Misbahul Munir Masduki (Parit Buntar) mengenai jumlah remaja hamil tanpa nikah dan langkah pencegahan isu tersebut.

Menteri Pembangunan Wanita, Keluarga dan Masyarakat Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri berkata usaha membendung kehamilan remaja luar nikah dilaksanakan secara menyeluruh melalui pendidikan kesihatan reproduktif, kaunseling dan sokongan komuniti.

“Antara inisiatif utama ialah pelaksanaan Dasar dan Pelan Tindakan Pendidikan Kesihatan Reproduktif dan Sosial (PEKERTI) yang meningkatkan kesedaran mengenai kepentingan pendidikan kesihatan reproduktif serta melahirkan masyarakat yang bertanggungjawab dan berdaya tahan,” katanya di Dewan Rakyat hari ini.

Beliau berkata pelan tindakan itu menekankan pembangunan kemahiran reproduktif yang positif melalui pendidikan formal di sekolah dan pendidikan tidak formal di peringkat komuniti.

Tambah beliau tindakan bersepadu digerakkan menerusi platform Majlis Sosial Negara.

"Antara tindakan bersepadu tersebut termasuk memasukkan program PEKERTI di peringkat institusi pengajian tinggi, memperluaskan pelaksanaan di peringkat komuniti serta meningkatkan promosi dan advokasi pendidikan kesihatan reproduktif dan sosial," katanya.

Nancy berkata Lembaga Penduduk dan Pembangunan Keluarga Negara (LPPKN) turut menyediakan khidmat sokongan kepada remaja menerusi Pusat Remaja KafeTEEN dan Program Sahabat KafeTEEN di sekolah yang menyediakan ruang bimbingan, klinik kesihatan reproduktif dan kaunseling psikososial.

"Sebanyak 18 Pusat Remaja KafeTEEN, sebuah trak KafeTEEN dan 143 Kelab KafeTEEN di sekolah menengah diwujudkan bagi meluaskan akses kepada pendidikan kesihatan reproduktif melalui peer educators terlatih," tambahnya.

Beliau berkata kerajaan juga akan melancarkan Dasar Keluarga Negara dan Pelan Tindakan Keluarga Negara yang baharu sebagai usaha memperkasakan institusi keluarga.

Langkah itu termasuk memperkukuh peranan ibu bapa dan remaja dalam perancangan keluarga.

“Usaha membendung isu kehamilan remaja luar nikah ini wajar digembleng bersama oleh semua pihak demi masa depan generasi muda kita yang lebih sejahtera,” katanya.

Equivalent to +- 300 teenager per month or 10 per day.. And its only for below 19 years old.. Its alarming.. why so easy giving in..

Just send my kid's Baby-G watch. This is the 2nd watch and 2nd time send Baby-G watch to the service centre within a year.

Guess what.. Need to wait 2-3 months for repair since no spare parts and need to order from Japan. What my kid want to use while waiting 2-3 months?

No quality watch. Thought it built tough and can last very long. Lost confidence with casio.

Can suggest me reliable watch for teenager? (not electronic type like sunto, garmin, etc)

Keyboard Laptop

Hi sifus,

As per title some of the keys in me keyboard laptop prone to double type. This occurred on the same alphabets.

I can type without see the keyboard. This problem make me to always hit backspace because of the extra letter. And also problem when entering hidden/asterisk password.

My question, will change the keyboard fix the problem? I afraid its because of other problem like maybe input controller, or etc and it will just waste for me buying a new keyboard.

JB homeowner who killed robber in violent struggle

JOHOR BARU: A homeowner who fought back against a robber, causing his death, was detained on Thursday to facilitate a criminal investigation.

The 32-year-old owner of a house in Taman Puteri Wangsa, Ulu Tiram near here is being investigated under the Criminal Procedure Code for murder, and has been placed under a remand order which expires on Jan 10.

In the incident at 2.45pm on Wednesday, the suspect – who had a criminal record of 14 offences – broke into the house and threatened the homeowner with a screwdriver, forcing him to surrender all his valuables.

But as he was trying to escape with the loot through the kitchen door, the homeowner engaged the robber in a scuffle, during which he grabbed a 22-cm long knife and stabbed the robber in the back of the neck, severing his jugular artery.

The homeowner was also injured in the struggle, receiving eight stitches to the head at the Sultanah Aminah Hospital here. -- BERNAMA

Hi sifu,

I need to restart my unifi devices frequently so my devices(hp/tablet/smartphone) can connect to internet again. I will just restart both modem and router. When the problem occured hppytv is not affected. Lazy to call tm as i expect they will just ask to restart.

Basically what is the problem and how to avoid frequent restart?
