Maxis Family Plan NO Speed Upgrade?!

I just found out from customer service that the Maxis Family Plan won't get a free step-up speed upgrades unlike the standard Fibre plans. I think this is pretty poor on their part. I am on Family 6, which already gets 100Mbps. I wonder if its just a staggered layout or they're really thinking this is fair, since we "already get discounts on our bundle" as per CS agent's response.

Maxis Mesh WiFi with Original Router

Hi guys,

So I've been scouring the forums and blogs for some guides but I wanna doublecheck.

So the ask is that I maintain the Maxis (Kaon) RGW whilst using the D-Link Mesh WiFi units to create a Mesh network. This is so I can maintain the phone line and 4G SIM Backup.

So I heard that instead of using the pppoe method, all I need to do is:

(Edited: this seems to work)

1. Connect D-Link to Maxis' LAN port (Maxis RGW maintain as LAN2 to TM BTU)
2. Set to DHCP in D-Link settings
3. Disable VLAN ID, if not already disabled

Is it that simple?

Did I Just Buy 'Fake' Steak?

1. Bought two cuts of sirloin.

2. Sous vide like normal (hence the grey colour; hadn't seared it).

3. After opening the bag, I realised that a bit of steak came loose.

4. Upon closer inspection, the bottom bit turned out to be (what I can assume is) minced beef wrapped in plastic that resembled connective tissue when frozen.

5. Went back to supplier, who said that it's normal. WTH?!

Have any of you experienced this before?

Repair Bluetooth Earphones

I have a pair of QCY QY12 earphones that keeps breaking connection, espeically when you move around. I suspect it might be a loose connection to the battery? Does anyone here have any experience with knowing if it is possible to fix this problem? It ain't an expensive pair, and I know the last option is to get a new pair, but I am trying not to get into the habit of buying-and-throwing.

Hey guys. I am planning to take my bike license soon (Full B) and wanna get your recommendations about where to get it done.

I live around Petaling Jaya, so by default, SDC (Safety Driving Centre) is the most obvious choice but I hear it isn't that good (long queue for the Kawa).

I am considering Metro Driving Academy but that is a 30 drive for me, but I took my D license there last time, and I am impressed with the facilities.

Metro's price now is RM1166, and SDC is comparative to that.

Other Points To Note:

1. I'm not going to 'buy' a license.
2. I don't wanna practice outside by myself - I wanna learn properly.

BOSCH VS ELECTROLUX

I am quite consistent and would like one brand for all these four main appliances - hob, hood, oven, and washing machine.

I am down to Electrolux and Bosch. Every other salesperson I come across would recommend one over the other, so I am wondering if any of you have any experiences overall with these brands. Doing a half-half is not an option (call it OCD...)

Most of the comments that surround Electrolux durability vs Bosch engineering, e.g. Bosch hobs use copper burner caps instead of aluminium ones, multiple gas lines, etc.; Bosch hoods are less powerful but more effective real suction.

What do you all think?

I have a need for a Prepaid Internet Package + Device combo, yet need it to handle 50 connections at least.

This for a workshop I am conducting.

Would the Zoom device be sufficient?

If not, anybody got any recommendations?
