Then I looked at the har drive body, it says PATA. Mu external case box says support IDE SATA. It first hang when it was idle. Then I restarted but it hang while checking HDD (72 percent .....) while booting. I tried a couple of times it still hangs at 72 percent HDD check. I&#39;m able to boot the PC in Safe Mode, but not in Normal Mode.<br /><br />Then I proceed to reformat my HDD and reinstall clean XP. It successfully installed but after some minutes XP hang. When I restarted, the hang comes back.<br /><br />Recent addition was a Lan card (I removed but still hang) and a bluetooth USB adapter (also tried removed but still hang). No strange sound form the PC (it&#39;s actually very quite when it hangs). I&#39;m clueless on what the problem could be:<br /><br />A. Motherboard?<br />B. HDD<br />C. Other hardware?<br />D.
