ive been looking around for a alarm system for my car and there are SO many types and brands out there. im sure we all know the top-of-the-line cobra and viper which would be ideal but its just too expensive for my asian car.

after much looking i found this brand steelmate which offers a 2-way alarm for bout RM500 (898g). so i went to a few shops to find out most of them dont carry that brand. i was told the brand is from china and its unreliable. now i dont mind that its from china as many china things are quite good nowadays but im abit worried abotu the reliability. anyone can share some knowledge or experience on this?

Powerline devises

I just came across this powerline devises as a solution to my wifi "dead-spots" problems. It seems like a very good solution as i would have LAN-like connection in my room upstairs (modem & reuter is downstairs).

Anyone using this already? im concern that it may interfere with the electric in my house. i hear that most of these devices have heating issues.

If this really works im thiking to bring the HyppTv to my room. not very sure if any complicated seting up is required.
