Need Help! [urgent]

Hi everyone.

I just started to build my own pc. This morning I switched on my pc, there is no signal sent to the monitor.

I was connecting the dvi cable from monitor to gpu. Is it correct?

I'm using MSI870G45 mobo which doesn't have any vga port. Its only have serial port.

Can I use serial port to connect with my monitor?

Do I have to find any cable converter?

All ur help/suggestion is highly appreciated. TQ.

Hi.
This is what i'm planning to buy during PC fair this weekend. Kindly please comment and advice whether it is ok or not. If not what specs should i change together with the price.

My budget is RM2000 including monitor+keyboard+mouse and this rig will be use mainly for video/photo editing (photoshop), autoCAD, other engineering software and also gaming.
