hoping that there are some Lawyers here to help out. Others with knowledge & experience abt this hope also can help~!

Dilemma/Problem/Case:
My Wifey is planning to switch jobs from Goverment to Private Sector

Background / Experience:

2007: Law Degree @ local public Uni
2007 - 2008: Chambering @ Lee Hishamuddin Allen and Gledhill Firm
2008: Joind Joseph Ting & Co Firm
2008: Joined Goverment under Atourney General Chambers (AG) as an Public Prosecutor (APP/DPP if not mistaken)
2009: Quit AG becoz got offer from Judiciary to become a Magistrate @ PJ court
2010: Transfered to KL Highcourt Jalan Duta and from Magistrate becomes Senior Assistant Registrar (SAR)
2012: Transfered to Seremban Court, as SAR also (still grade L41)

Problem:

- she is fed up of being a tossing stick due to accomodate peopole who have 'pengaruh' and power. (she was transfered bcoz of a 'somebody's son' didnt want to transfer, so she was chosen to be the scapegoat in this.)
- The work of Seremban court is a very harsh, required to work Monday - Sunday due to some scope there i dont quite understand.
- the PIC in-charge there a.k.a her boss is very strict, troublesome, and a jackA$$ (as reported by her friends who worked under the said boss)
- Lower salary due to cut of Hardship Allowance (KL is higher than Seremban)
- Higher toll / fuel cost for travel (Bangi - Seremban)

Resolution

- She is considering to quit the Goverment and join back the private sector as a Lawyer
- She's already working like a mule at her current post in Seremban Court, so why not she becomes a lawyer. Yes its also quite challenging but at least she gets better pay. Its not about 'tak mahu kerja susah' its more like 'if ive already have to work this hard anyway, why not join a place with better pay for your hardship?'

Question(s)

1. what do you guys think? is this a good decision to quit Gov?
2. How much can she get, expected salary, with her experience?

Any thoughts? please help..

Rejecting Job Offer

"Is it ok, if say I reject a job offer from a company, which i have duly signed the offer letter? Is there any legal action that could be taken on me if i reject it?"

i wanted to work in this offering company in the first place due to good salary/remuneration overall, but i just got word from some ex-company staffs that the company is having some problems internally which I deem un-healthy for my future career advancement.

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to cancel an approved loan from the bank? Recently i applied for an ASB loan of 50K @ 15years thru Maybank and it was approved, but i did not sign anything as i have yet to go to the bank.

I want to cancel because recently something happened within my family that has caused me to channel my cash towards medical support for my parents. and after calculations, it was deemed that the monthly repayments may seem to be a bit of a burden (maybe cant afford) to me in the long run.

I was told by the bank officer that if i cancel the loan, i will be blacklisted by BNM and the Bank. is this statement true? can anyone confirm this? it has been really bugging me for some time and i need to make a decision now.

[WTA] HELP! PS3 lost all wifi, BT, ethernet

Hi guys, i just got back frm outstation today for a week and came home discovering this affecting my PS3:

1 - Controller needs long time to sync (3-5mins) even when wired!!
2 - Ethernet on PS3 no response at all (no blinking light etc when connected to router. Router confirm 100% ok) like kaput?
3 - Wifi also cannot connect

is this a hardware issue or just firmware? is this because of the dreaded firmware 3.00?

Fyi, no one touched the console at all since my absence and it was 100% working before i left. been searching the net for info regarding this, but most questions were ignored.

Things that i've tried:

1 - soft reset the ps3
2 - changed ethernet cables

Anyone had this kinda problem before? hope u guys can help.. its just like the ps3 lost all its connectivity capabilities! arghh! Im really lost here

PC cannot boot at all - no POST screen

Hi everyone, im having a freaky problem here.

My PC had no such problems ever since i bought it 6 moths ago, was ok until last afternoon: turned on pc, running ok, took a short nap, suddenly shut-off when i awoke, then this whole problem occured..

Problem:

-My PC cannot boot or even enter the POST/BIOS screen when turned on.

Symptoms/Condition:

-After switch power button on, screen goes blank, no sign of anything, not even the usual 'BEEP' sound
-DVD,CD-rom still running, Cpu Fan, Case Fan, also running (have Power), Mobo LED also on

What i tried:

-Check the Graphics Card -->[Working]
-Check the Monitor -->[Working]
-Check RAM -->[Working]
-Check HDD -->[Working]
-Change/Swap/Re-Organize power cables

After all the above, my PC still has no sign of recovery. Im predicting it to be a faulty processor or a faulty Mobo. But im not an expert when it comes to hardwares such as the processor and mobo. Anyone can point out any recommendations, solutions, or tell me whats going on with my PC here?
