Salary basic + allowances

Hello All,

I would like to ask if allowances are usually given together with salary in huge MNC company? What about smaller companies?

For example you get basic salary, then you also get allowances such as dental, eye, internet, public holiday and shift allowances.

1) Are this allowances plus together with the basic salary?
*If it is plus together, means epf,socso and income tax pcb also minus from there.

*Below are some examples of the allowances being distributed if it adds together with basic.
-shift allowances are not fix therefor every month epf, socso and income tax minus different amount
-Dental and eye are distributed randomly, again every month epf, socso and income tax minus different amount
-Internet monthly so fixed deduction of the above items.

2) What is the industry standard practice?

Hello i was wondering how is the working environment in Hilti? The Malaysian branch is located at Phileo Damansara. Its a MNC company like Bosch providing construction power tools worldwide. This branch deals with IT processes (SAP and Non SAP) globally. Izzit the same like T-systems?

Hi there, i am a fresh engineering graduate who recently got a job.

As you all already know, to get a job nowadays is very hard.

Many of us are new in the working world and we are vulnerable to company which make use or even cheat this situation.

I recently joined this company. They already told me that i need to work 3 years. if not compensate 3 months. Reason is that because they train you so much then u just resign they rugi.

However just before i sign the HR person told me loads of wonderful story such as, as a probation if i want to leave i only need give 1 month notice and i no need pay anything. And once i am a confirmed staff if i giv a proper 2 months notice, i no need to pay the compensate also. She also say so many wonderful things such as big big angpow (Rm500), great trips around the world. I was unsure whether to sign or not but she said just sign n nothing to worry.

In my agreement, it DID NOT STATE how many months i need to give to leave. Straight away say about the 3 months compensate. But since HR ensure me that one is nothing i juz sign it.

But once i sign, i wasn't assigned to any engineering job, instead i do laborer job such as wash floor, painting, handling with live 3 phase wirring (which i have no knowledge), climb trees, korek tanah. Plus i need travel from KL to Bangi everyday to do this job.

Below are the things i didnt expect
1) cannot claim (they said can but laced with alot of strings)
2) 6 days a week no OT (everyday work till 10pm) 9-6pm job
3) No annual leave

After 1 month working, i suspect that something is wrong, i decided to confront the HR and ask what happens if i leave, then she said if you want leave, 2 months notice + 3 month compensate.....i was like WTF, then she said you already sign. Then i complain to my manager. after talking she revert back to when before i sign. No need compensate if give proper notice.

Now that i tender my resignation, she said u need stay 1 month like dat then its up to the big boss want to waive ur 3 months compensate or not....

My question is:

1) Is what they do against labor law? What are my options?

2) Since i already tender resignation all i need to know is whether i need compensate or not right? if they said yes, then for what stay? i can just disappear rite? because in agreement didnt say how many months need to give

3) Will they come after me?

Anyone here heard about REDTone before? They are a broadband Expert company, providing solutions to offices.

My question is, how are they doing compared to other competitors such as Maxis, Digi, and Celcom? Im not sure whether their business cover the public or not but i know their business products such as Voice over internet protocol (VOIP) is mainly for Offices and small n medium size companies (SMEs).

Are their market penetration strong?

Was wondering, juz say u wanted to say something bad about someone important in Meresia tru the internet, but u use some fake name, fake email, then go cybercafe n send whatever mail u wan, will they be able to track u down? say they track you down tru the internet, IP adress, they take recordings of the camera in the cybercafe, c which pc u use n so on? Are they dat advance?

Was wondering this after watching those Hollywood movies, Like Enemy of the state, run where also they can find u...can even see u running inside building

Problem details
First occurence of problem: 2 months ago
Problem frequency: Only night usually 8.30pm-11.30pm
Problem description:

I been facing this never ending problem for 2 months. Bad connection, done all trouble shooting, reformat pc, change splitter, change modem, finally to get thier buttts moving i report to MCMC n they have been responding accordingly

Tmnet already repair the port, but somehow only night i face bad connections, i ping websites n get frequent time out every 10 lines.

I did speed test, test varies, 0.30MBps, 0.6mbps, 0.6mbps, it goes up and down. This unstable issues only happens between 8.30pm-11.30pm, video conference and online gaming is really affected. Disrupting my work and gaming

A few times it was port problem. They said fix d. The last was, they said instead of using the port from the nearby TMservers, they did a subport for me so that the port nearer to my house n i will get better connections, was ok until my phone line went kaput 3 days later, n when they fix, dunno how port rosak again. so they sent someone to repair it.

Today technician came, said something bout SNR, he put his machine n said upstream 31 is good but downstream 12 is minimum n its bad.

Then i put my current modem, Up: 31, Down: 12 .To be sure i change another modem, same brand same model, but its new...results is Up: 31, Down: 11 .

He blames my modem and said my modem problem how can it be? i already change modem. My line is fine afternoon but night like shit, nothing to do with anything.

Then he mentioned about ADSL MODULATION TYPE, he said mine is set to ADSL2+ (Multi mode)

He said different modem got different setting n said he dunno how to set for my dlink....wtf....i dun think this is the problem cuz only night happens

Wat is this modulation types? i see got so many, n the manual didn't say anything bout modulation type

Display Hardware@software Problem

Hello everyone, i have a problem with my computer. I suspect is my graphic card@graphic card drivers.

All of a sudden yesterday i cant run any games. Running any games/3d graphic will result in crashing and goin back to windows.

Among the error messages are:

"DirectX not installed"

When i run World of warcraft, error msg pops out reading:

"failed to find a suitable display device.Exiting program"

Running Nvidia tools, cause the software itself to hang, the pc seems to be unable to generate the 3d Image

Among the things i have tried are:

I tried uninstalling my NVIDIA driver n reinstalling back.

I also uninstall direct X n reinstalling.

System restore

I didnt disturb any setting or configurations be it hardware or software, this happens all of a sudden. Is my graphics card gonna die?
No problems with normal usage of the pc, only when running games

recently my fren telling me this where u just open a browser n money will come in, every hour money will go in pay pal.

Juz wanna ask is dis some scam? even though he really get the money, will this program SUCK BANDWIDTH? cuz internet become really slow, dunno whose problem. Slow until internet become 0.3mbps n cannot browse

the line is ok on certain hours but will suddenly take a dip at 7pm to 12am, recently becoming worst

And one more is there a possibility that its like a hacking program by 3rd party? like can c ur bank account or online-game account?this is serious stuff icon_question.gif

C905 Receiver spoil

Hi all i have a problem with my SE C905

i recently bought a SE C905 , after 6 months suddenly the receiver spoil. When i answer call, i cant hear anything, however hands free and loudspeaker working. Means the part where u hear spoil d . I lost the warranty card, so cant claim warranty d right?

so how much will the repair cost me and which shop can be trusted? an original sony erricson repair center? or wat? any suggestion? how much u think it will cost?

Socket Problem or Internet problem

Problem description:

This problem i am not sure whether it is the DLINK or the wall socket in my house, juz moved in, so dunno current state of the house or wall socket

i am using a D-LINK DSL-2640T (MODEM+WIRELESS+4port router 3-in-1) connected to it is another D-LINK DL-604 router. Internet will be ok the whole day. Then at one point will suddenly DC and when connect back line will be extremely slow.

Call TMNET they said ur line hang. So they reset port, and refresh dns. Then internet ok again. However the next day around evening time(everytime around this time) same thing happens, DC and when connect back will be super slow. When line is still fresh, speed can clock up to 1.29Mbps but when slow dat time will reach 0.19-0.29 Mbps. Seems to be at one point the line seems to be saturated. We strictly prohibit downloading, so everyone only surf internet or online games

No problems in terms of my Modem router connect to another router rite? After TMnet reset my port, everyone including those using wireless, direct connect to modem+router and second router are having at least 1.29Mbps on speedtest.net

We also try connecting a single modem ===> to the D-LINK DL-604 router, same thing, will be fast then at one point of the day will be slow.

Cant open CMD dos

Refering to the title above, cud this be a virus attack? everytime i open the CMD dos to refresh the DNS, or run some file, and error will come out n it says ur pc will shutdown, i cant even save any files on words, it juz shutdown. Blue Screen, crash n restart

Recently my PC started to crash n restart. Below are teh error code

My pcs internet speed n the pc itself was begining to slow down, so i decided to run a spyware test and there were like few hundred types of spywares. so i fixed everything n run a full scan n everything was clean. However my pc begins to restart/crash suddenly.

Something could have been removed unintentionally?

Is there any way to fix this other than reformating?

Hello there, like the topic above, my pc is suddenly lagging, i dunno wats wrong

i ddidnt install anything recently, i am using MCAfee security center.

it just have this weird processes , i mean the CPU usage goes at this sequence 0 > 78 > 37 > 100 (%) by seconds means altogether 4 seconds
and it keeps repeating, when it reaches 100% my pc will have a long lag

i tried using system restore, it works but the problem keeps repeating

even when i shut down all programs the problem still persist

seems that "services.exe' is causing the problem. i cant terminate it cuz it says its a critical part of the system

HEllo everyone i have a problem with my pc

i dunno wat started it. Either after i change my graphic card or i upgraded my RAM

While using pc, suddenly the cpu shut down, screen go blank, but the green light on the cpu still on, weird...i never encounter before.
The whole PC suddenly just shut down. Sumthing like PSU trip i think

Could it be that my power supply not enuf? because its only 430watts, i juz upgraded my graphic card to 9600GT which requires an extra power connector. Now the power supply no more connector d meaning i used up all the connecotrs, connect to 2 hard disc, graphic , a few fans.

Well as stated in the topic, my fren using w800 fon shud be the software to connect to PC is the same, After i connect my fon to his PC, when i safely remove , The fon will restart rite? But when restart After show the Sony Ericcson LOGO, then the screen straight away blank and it keeps blinking with a white background every 10 seconds, also cannot turn off unless take out battery, i already tried taking out sim n memory card but still same problem.

Meaning now only solution is send to service centre rite?

what do u guys think? software or hardware failure? cuz warranty over d, i scared be damn expensive if repair at service centre
