[SERIOUS] shopping is so unpleasant in gent

Dear all,

it is CNY shopping season now.
after working for a few years, my financial is now stable, and being forever alone, i brought my parents to shopping mall to buy new shirt/dress for them for CNY.
but it turned out to be a very unpleasant scenario. may be this is the first time i buy shirt in gent department, but it is so much different compared to lady department.

here is the scenario.
venue: one of the famous shopping departmental store in Klang Valley, at one of the famous gent international brand.
my dad like those long sleeve formal wear / batik wear, which i feel it is very elegant also.
it is not cheap also. RM200+ with 20 - 40% discount. and i plan to buy 2-3 shirts for my dad.

my dad choose one design, when i ask for the XL size, but the promoter is so reluctant to take me the correct size for that design for my dad to try.
she will just take another design shirt with XL size for me, and claim it is same cutting.
only when i insist to have same design, she will take me with dark face.
ok, i think it is because she has to open up the plastic and take those already nicely folded shirt out.

but, it is RM1xx for each shirt, and you expect us to buy without even try on it?
and i plan to buy 2-3 shirts, which is about RM500!

i never experience this in lady department, probably lady shirt is easier to fold back, but really think the trip is very unpleasant one.

do you guy experience the same also?

this is the real case.
just now, i was driving at Jalan Sultan Ismail, want to turn to Jalan Raja Chulan. as usual, it is traffic jam, and i queue on lane.
suddenly a car bang me from behind, i could feel the bang from behind because the momentum is quite hard.

quickily, i get down the car and check, it is nothing too serious, but i could see her car's car number plate broken. it was a kembara with an aunty inside with black spec.
i knocked on her windows, she only winded down the window and said sorry, but she said nothing damage, so you want what?
omg, what is this attitude, bang me and still want to bull me for nothing damage.
i told her, sorry for what, you bang me. she said it is nothing damage also.

ok, i went back to my car and take my phone to take photos. her car was so close, i hardly see how is the damage. then i found she was reversing her car and wanted to run away. i quickily took video because she is leaving! she even tried to beat me with a car sterling lock, and spit saliva on me and my car before she went away. everything was captured in my phone video including her car plate number.

i tried to chase her, but the traffic light changed to green, and she run away.

i checked my car after arrived office, it is nothing, but aparently her car's number plate broken into pieces which make me really worry me that it was very serious just now.

now, please advise
a) what should i do? report police?
b) my car dont really has damage, but what if she go report, and i dont? become my fault?
c) where to report since this happen in Jalan Sultan Ismail where in front the u-mobile/wendy building.
d) could i just make report nearby my house since my car dont really damage, no need to claim insurance also, just to protect myself.

i can always upload the video, but since my car dont really damage, i was thinking, do this necessary. she acted very fierce just now, if i upload the video, i am sure she will be very famous over internet and might got our media attention also, think since it is not serious, why put such a shame on a old aunty at her 40's.

by the way, i need serious advise, because i dont know what to do now..

i hope to forget it and close the thread because i have no obvious damage. i hope to move on, because i have heavy workload, dont have time to go report also.
but my concern is, what if she go report, and i didnt
would this put me into trouble?

i got all the video and photos with me, if i want to create trouble, she will be very very famous right now with her fierce attitude after bang people's car.
but, what if she scare and go report, and then police will then hunt for me and put myself into trouble.

i hope to let go also, because i have so many works, and dont have enough time to rest already.

i think i have no choice, but to report. not to make trouble, but at lease protect myself.
she bang me from behind, she is definitely at the wrong side, at least i can live without worry after report lo..

Dear all,

i am new and would like to open a postpaid plan on Maxis.

looking at their plan below.

what does the monthly commitment fee mean?
please confirm if my understanding correct.

A. i should use the phone every month more than "monthly commitment fee". if i use less also, i will still need to pay "monthly commitment fee"?
B. the "monthly commitment fee" is on top of my phone usage. if i use RM10 of phone call/SMS only, then i will need to pay "monthly commitment fee" + RM10? if this is the case, why not Maxis just call this "monthly commitment fee" as monthly internet 5GB fee? why confuse people with "monthly commitment fee" term?

please advise my understanding option A or option B is correct??

actually, i am looking for something like option A above.
i need the free monthly internet, but dont need the free call/sms. because i very seldom call/SMS.

if other telco have this type of plan, please share.

WTA car wash center that will use my shampoo&towel

i just did Siera Glow coating on my car..

i am a bit busy with my work, hardly have time to wash car, because i would rather spend time with family if i have any extra time.
Siera Glow Mr Lim told me if want to wash car outside, can just bring own shampoo and car wash towel for them, ask them to use my shampoo & towel.. they just provide washing service and water only..

however, i visited a few car wash center, but they refuse to use my shampoo and towel because it is too troublesome..

therefore, would like to ask sifu here,
a) normally how you wash the car?
b) if wash outside, where could i find those willing to wash my car with my shampoo and towel?

Problem details
First occurence of problem: Android phone cannot see wifi, but laptop ok, can online and everything
Problem frequency: Android phone never see wifi
Problem description:
my Android phone (Asus A50) cannot see wifi from Innacomm W3400V Wireless Modem, but my laptop (3x laptop) can see and connect, no problem.

i have 3x of Asus A50, all 3 cannot see wifi network, even i put the phone side by side with the modem.
since all 3x of Asus A50 cannot see the wifi, i think it is not my phone failure, because i can use the phone wifi to online at any other place like normal. just i cannot see the wifi network at my home where my modem is Innacomm W3400V Wireless Modem.

i know Innacomm W3400V Wireless Modem is crappy, but seriously, i am a budget user, i have no money to buy other router. and this Innacomm W3400V Wireless Modem work well on my laptop.

please advise how do i fix this problem.

Dear all,
I just bought a unit of service apartment, it is new development and currently under construction.

The Sale Assistance told me, they will give the banker my contact and they will contact me for loan application.
Their panel banks are Alliance bank, Maybank, and Ambank.

The housing loan agents from these banks called me for the documentation, and i email Alliance Bank agent and Ambank agent.

QUESTION 1:
But, due to the Maybank branch is just next to my office, I decided to direct go to that Maybank branch and apply housing loan there.
because i think it is easier when come to sign agreement/contract, and park my loan account there.
Would this cause any problem? (now i start to worry, the developer Sale Assistance might have agreement with the bank housing loan agent)

QUESTION 2:
The Maybank housing loan agent told me,
for first time home buyer, if take Islamic loan, can get 50% off stamp duty, 20% off lawyer fee.
Is this true??

QUESTION 3:
my service apartment is 420k, so, my loan about 380k only. the banker told me, the best rate is BLR-2.4%.
is there any way to nego for better rate?
i have a very good and clean credit record (credit card 5 years, but clear all outstanding every month), net salary is capable to take the loan.

i am very new in housing loan, and this is my first home.

hi all.

i just like to find a budget hotel around lcct.
my 2 flights have a small gap.

i arrive LCCT malaysia at 8pm, and my next flight is at 7am tomorrow. so, basically i have less than 11 hours to rest. probably i should just sleep in lcct, but alternatively, i could find a budget hotel, just to take a good rest. tune hotel is expensive, >RM100.

please suggest me a budget hotel. may be <RM50?? (i have a car, can go there, but hope to get one near by only)

this is serious talk.

yesterday i went and ate in a shop in a shopping mall with friends.
it is quite high class one, because 1 noodle cost RM9.50 , but no choice, all shop are expensive here.

when almost finish, i saw a died small roach in my noodle soup. it was not big, but about 2mm x 4mm.
you wont notice it if you dont look properly, you will just think it is some kind of spice..

i complain to the waitress. the waitress is chinese, about 40 years old.
he took my noodle away, but never come back to again..

i doesn't mean to create trouble there, but i just feel unhappy because he never even say a sorry to me..

just a survey, how would you respond? this could be my reference next time i face scenario like this.. so, please serious talk only.

Details of the complaint :
i found his sale from google. i contacted him with phone, and finalized the deal.
he promised to sell at RM400, with free 8GB SD card, and a bag.
he asked me to pay more for delivery to get citylink because post laju is not reliable. i agreed and pay RM20 for taking citylink delivery.
i transferred RM420 to his account on 22 Feb 2010. and received the Eee PC on 26 Feb, by Post laju? (i thought he asked me to pay more for delivery to get citylink because post laju is not reliable??) the post laju clearly stated, it is about RM10 only. but, as long as the item safely arrived, i dont care also.

unfortunately, i received only netbook and charger only. no SD card and bag.
i called him on 28 feb, he said he forgot to put in and said he had sent in another delivery already which it will arrive me on 1 March.
i waited until 4 March, still not receiving anything. i SMSed him for the tracking number, he replied he will find for me.
No reply from him, i called him on 5 March about 930pm, but he didn't answer.
called again on 6 March about 530pm, he said he is busy and will find me the tracking number on monday (8 March)
No reply from him, i called him on 8 March, but he didn't answer.
called again on 10 March, but he didn't answer.
called again on 14 March, but he didn't answer.

i believe i had given him a lot of time, but now he didn't even answer my phone anymore.
my course mate taught me to open a thread here at lowyat, at least to warn other people when dealing with him.
i dont mean to create problem, i already call him so many times to solve the problem, but he didn't answer me.
i am helpless and hope forumers here could help me.
