WTA: 2000 Perodua Kenari 1.0 (A) fair price

Hi, I''ve been to a used car dealer and found a Kenari 1.0 automatic, year 2000. The engine have been overhauled, everything is in good condition, engine running smooth just that there are crack on one of the rear lamp cover and the radio does not work.

The salesman offer me RM 8500.00, including the processing fees and insurance etc, the total on the road price would be RM 10500.00, the car will be ready to be picked up 2 days after I confirm.

So, Is that the right price??

[WTA] Seeking advice: Recommendation for used car

I am considering to get a used car and my budget is around RM 6000 - RM 10 000.
Preferably a compact car and going to need it to travel to work on daily basis AND travel back to my hometown at least every month in the northern part of peninsular Malaysia from KL.
Somehow, I have already shortlisted Perodua Kancil, Perodua Kelisa, Hyundai/Inokom Atos.

Any advice on which one should I get and what criteria should I look for? Which 1 is more fuel economic? which 1 is more reliable? and, which one is easier to get the spare part, in case of repair.

Taking masters degree after having another MSc

Hello everyone,

My company is having a research collaboration with a public university to develop and qualify my company's welding scanner and I'm currently involve in the project by doing the statistical analysis of the data collected by the equipment to the public university. Apart from the research work alone, I can actually choose to register as a part time masters student, work on my thesis and get MSc in material science.

But anyway, I also planned to further my study maybe in masters in plasma physics or nuclear engineering in the future.

So, is it possible to further study for another masters degree after already having a masters degree??? And is it weird??

MSc Nuclear Engineering

Hello, I'm hving a vry great interest Nuclear engineering, from what I know this field doesn't necessarily deal with power generation only as nuclear have a very wide application in research, industry and medical....

So, I'm looking for opportunity to take up a graduate degree in nuclear engineering, well, I realise there are no university in Malaysia offering such course..even UKM is only offering Nuclear Science and not much research conducted are much related for physics fundamental research and engineering aspect like Nondestructive Testing, nuclear electronics, nuclear instruments and particle accelerators...maybe not much funding i guess...

So,after some research over the internet, i came across with some univ in the oversea offering MSc in Nuclear realated course..like ETH Zurich and EPF Lausanne; Switzerland, MIT, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand; KAIST, Korea...

But then, I dun have any clue on wht the very 1st step to do should i decide to study oversea? so i hv to take special exam prior to my application??? i heard tht i hv to take either TOEFL or IELTS..certain univ prefer IELTS and some prefer the other one..and I also got to take GRE??? dunno wht it's all about..

Well, I dun mind if in sudden the Malaysia govt decide to forget about hving a nuclear power plant by 2020s coz I think, should i graduate with MSc. in nuclear engineering, I cn better expand my expertise in the oversea rather than in Malaysia...well, even if i decide to come back and serve Malaysia maybe I'll stand better chance of getting employment as lecturer of physics in any universities,....not sure if standing a chance of getting employed as researcher of Nuklear Malaysia as it's govt agency and the application hv to go thru SPA n JPA which is way too much bureaucracy and of course it's not easy to get govt job...

What does a Physics or any physics related course graduate does normally?? apart from further study and join in the academic field or become teachers...

seems like there's not much dedicated lab for physics research anyway under MOSTI either..most of the research in gov institution also only agriculture and biotech

Even wanna be a medical physicist also, gt to have medical degree 1st....
