OpenWRT WDS Setup

Hi all, first posting in LYN asking for help.

I have been researching and trial and error on OpenWRT for at least one month. So far, unifi.athena.my and klseet.com have guided me through how to flash my routers (D-Link DIR615 G2 & ASUS RT-N10+ B1) to OpenWRT.

Not sure about others, but my DIR615 is quite unstable. I have to flash it to DD-WRT first then only to OpenWRT using the guide found on klseet.com. From time to time when I did some changes i.e. extroot, DIR615 fail to be detected after reboot, cannot login to 192.168.1.1. I have no choice but to go back to emergency room 192.168.0.2.

RT-10+ B1 on the other hand is very stable. The only weakness is it doesn't have USB port and with limited amount of internal memory compare to DIR615. From my observation, its wireless strength and coverage is better than DIR615.

I need some help from folks from LYN on how to configure wireless bridge between both routers. I have been applying some guidelines from josefsson.org to configure but fail. Wireless interface gone down after I add in the WDS configuration. Is there any simple workaround on this, any method to wireless bridge I will consider.
