[WTA] JPA in Nottingham

Any JPA scholars here who is from Nottingham? I have a question...

In Nottingham, 2 types of degrees are offered: BEng and MEng, which takes 3 and 4 years respectively.
So I heard people saying that it's a requirement for JPA scholars to take MEng instead of BEng due to the recognition issue.

So is this true? Or JPA scholars can choose to take either BEng or MEng?

JPA Offer Letter?

I havent received any letter from JPA (PIDN) yet, although I've already confirmed that Im taking the scholarship. I I tried to call up JPA but no people answered. Then my uni registration day is this coming thursday. Any JPA scholar here who havent received any letter from JPA yet?

Is it worthy to take JPA?

I checked and found out that I am offered by JPA to study in Nottingham, foundation in engineering. I'm currently studying A-Levels, which then will end at next year's June. My plan is to finish A-Levels then apply to either NUS or NTU. So, my first choice of uni would be first NUS, then second NTU, and third Nottingham.

So, is it worth taking the scholarship? Will the education in NUS and NTU be FAR more better than Nottingham? And can I go on to masters after finishing the degree?

UK vs US Degree

I'm currently taking ADP... Decided to major in engineering. But I heard there are some differences between UK and US degree in terms of the difficulty of the subjects that u are going to study.

So, are the UK degree subjects more in-depth and difficult compared to US degree subjects? Cause a UK degree spends 4 years for engineering, while a US degree spends 2 years in your major, as it is a 2+2 program, the first 2 years are foundation and the subjects basically have nothing to do with your major.

P.S I have changed my mind to pursue a UK degree. But the problem now is the pathway of getting it. I actually plan to take nanoengineering, but some people advised me not to take this course at degree level as it will be too specific and I will end up having problems in the end. So, pursueing another engineering degree i.e chemical engineering, then only study nanoengineering in masters, is this advisable?

ADP Scholarships

I'm enrolling in for Inti's ADP program in March... I scored well in SPM therefore I can apply for Inti's scholarship for the first year... But now I encountered some problems...

Can I apply for other scholarships, such as The Star Education Fund Astro Scholarship Award? Or apply for loan for the 2 years of study in US? Cause 2 years of study in US is hardly affordable for me...
