forcing widescreen resolution

i have a widescreen samsung monitor and an old cpu with sis 315 as video card.. i know after i install win 7, it does not support widescreen ie; 16:9 ratio, which makes my display seems to be stretched horizontally.. is their any 3rd party software or other methods which can help me to get my monitor to display a 16:9 AR? i know ubuntu can with vesa but how bout windows?

hi guys, i just installed win7 on my dad's old lappy with intel core duo processor T2250(1.73ghz) and wiv 512ram.. it sure lags after install then i just configure the paging size... so, after a few minutes using it, it turned off immediately and never being able to switched on again.. whats wrong?

3d glasses and 3d tv

Hi, i have posted this long long time b4, but not in detail.. so now i get to meet my old pc and here are the specs:

Processor: Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.81 GHz
Installed ram: 2 gb but can support till 1.5 gb max
Mobo: MS-650
GC: sis 315_315E

i know its v v old.. just want some recon on possibilty to upgrade my gc or if nid to, the processor too.. thanks

hi guys, just recently my laptop has downloaded an update entitled Microsoft Office File Validation Add In. just want to ask will my 'unlicensed microsoft office 2007' be affected if i install this update? can my microsoft word still be able to use?

i have been opting for a new phone quite long time dy. i had my eyes set on x10, which is around my budget (~rm 1100)... but should i wait for neo? i can wait for it but then when will neo be launched here and how much is it? if it is too exp, then should i just go with x10?

hi, i jus bought a ps3 recently. however, recently i found out that sometimes my lcd tv shows 'no signal' logo when i press the button to play a game. how is this so? is there wrong with my avi cable or ps3(i hope not)?

i opt for a x10 after cny. and i heard that arc is going to be released around april. so, will the price drop during beginning of march or end of feb? cause i need to buy x10 which is slightly over my budget now.

i had this tv, lg 42ld460. the salesperson says its full hd 1080p.. but then, i saw my tv box and there's no full hd logo.. so is it true that my tv cant support hd? i m afraid i may receive the wrong tv model. and the dynamic contrast ratio is only 100000:1... is it enuf to have a full hd view?

should i buy ps3 now?

guys, i plan to buy a ps3 in a week or so with my money which i have saved for years. is it wise to choose ps3 out of xbox and wii? should i buy ps3 now or should i wait for 3ds or psp2 next year? or should i wait for ps4?

hi, i would like to know how come a phone with 8 mp is cheaper than a cam with 8mp? so, it means having a phone is more worth? plus, a handycam which records hd is way more exp than a vivaz which can also films hd. so does this means having a cam really wastes $$?

i searched tekken 6 on wiki. it says the game is playable with firmware 6.1. however, my psp-2000 is 5.50 and is the most updated firmware version. so, is tekken 6 playable in psp-2000? if not how to possibly make it possible?
