Let's just say I have a close friend (26F) who I have known for almost 5 years since university time and we were pretty close and would share occasionally about our lives via messenger and we do occasional meet ups and trips together with our other close friends.

Usually whenever I have texted her she would have replied within a day or two or at most three days and recently she has just been ignoring my messages without any preface (message was a question about her preparations on moving back to her home country and asking if her flight tickets had been bought or not) - a close ended question which takes a yes or no answer. This was sent about 2 weeks ago via PM and I have still not gotten a reply from her. I can see that she's online on FB messenger and that she has seen other messages on a friends group chat which I am also apart of.

I noticed that this would not be her usual pattern of responding to texts and tried to get hold of her close friend to see whether she is ok as I know she has been living with this close friend for quite a while and they mentioned that they went somewhere for a trip last week and she had attended a wedding the week before. (Note that we're at a country where travel is permitted now).

Also to note that we've just celebrated her birthday recently with a meet up and didn't notice any unusual behaviour from her.

As she is moving back to her home country she is currently unemployed and staying with her close friend and her close friend is answering my questions about her sort of like a proxy instead of her answering me via PM.

My personal belief is that no matter how busy you are you would always find the time to let the other person know that you're on a trip/ busy with planning. We currently live in a connected age and this sort of behaviour is akin to ignoring a person in real life when you are face to face with that certain person.

The question now is does this count as being ghosted? or am I being too needy / overthinking? I am pretty sure she has seen my messages on her phone but just chose not to reply. How should I move forward with this? Her close friend also suggested another meet up in the coming week and I don't know how to feel about this....

So i just finished my PMR and my school is starting the streaming for next year's form 4. I'm now in dilemma on whether to choose Science IT or Pure Science, most of them said that choosing pure science can give u a wide range of courses to choose when moving on. However, I'm interested in IT. I'm not very sure that my interest towards IT will last long anot but seeing pure science has a lot to offer in the near future i'm starting to fear about catching up with the lessons since I'm very very slow to pick up 1 particular subject especially in bio. Now i'm not very sure about what stream to choose
