Wira Engine Oil Leaking (1.5 Auto Fuel Injection)

Dear all sifus,

I am driving a 20 years old Wira 1.5 auto (fuel injection) and recently I found engine oil drop on floor. Only a single drop in the morning.

Currently no significant power loss. I've also check the engine oil level and no engine oil loss (the level is between MIN and MAX on engine oil dipstick). Replaced flywheel oil seal and silicone valve cover gasket (https://www.google.com/search?q=wira+Valve+cover+gasket&tbm=isch&source=univ&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiDyMyukabhAhXJuI8KHf13CqUQsAR6BAgIEAE&biw=1440&bih=757#imgrc=MQEOsv6pCgvKEM:) last year.

I've checked the engine bay and took some photos of it. I would like to get some advice before sending it to mechanic (to prevent cut throat, lol):

1) Is this consider serious issue that needs an overhaul immediately?

2) If so, FULL or TOP overhaul needed?

3) Which part is leaking? (Sorry for the picture quality)

4) Safe to drive it for long distance once in a while? (eg. KL to Penang)

Thank you!

ATF leakage on Wira 1.5 Auto

Dear all sifus:

I am driving a 1999 Wira sedan 1.5GLi (Auto). I found some ATF leakage on the gearbox cable (as shown by red circle in the image as attached within) but no time to send it for repair until next month. So I don't dare to accelerate too much as ATF may spilled out (perhaps?) and eventually spoil my AT box. So what I can do currently is just inspect the ATF level after warming up my car for 10 minutes before driving it to check if there is insufficient of ATF.

1) Refer to the image, is it a "kickdown/ throttle cable"?

2) A leakage on it consider a serious problem or not?

3) Is it expensive to fix it?

4) Besides, I'm also facing an issue that I have to warm up my car for 10 minute for proper shifting in every morning or after I leave it for few hours during working hours. When the gear box is hot, it works well and no shifting issue. Is it caused by the leakage on cable or internal problems of AT box?

Anyone facing this issue before? Hoping someone could clear my doubts

Wira 1.5GLi (1999) auto gearbox shifting problem

I am facing this problem after changing the automatic transmission fluid.

I am a light foot driver, usually, the car managed to shift from 1st gear to 2nd gear @ 1.5k rpm, and 2nd to 3rd gear when it reached 2k rpm. (From 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd gear @ below 2k rpm).

After i changed the gear oil on yesterday's afternoon, I feel that the car was weird: 1st gear to 2nd gear @ 3k rpm, 2nd to 3rd gear also above 3k rpm, the feeling is totally different (it keeps draggggging then only shifting up). And I think that maybe it will be normal after a period so I didn't tell the foreman.

Just now when i started the car in the morning, I find that the car stucked at 1st gear even after 100 meter++ (usually it has already shifted to 2nd gear)!! It only shifted to 2nd gear @ 3.5k rpm! And the shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear also after 3k rpm.

After some journey (about 10 minutes), the car only become normal as usual and no problem at all. (Maybe it only become normal after it reached certain temperature??)

I am using recond gear box since 2 years ago and giving no problem at all.

Is it because of the gear oil? I don't think so because I brought 2 wira to the foreman to change the gear oil, both are using same brand of gear oil (WESTHAM) but the other wira no such problem.

Any ideas? Is it because of the foreman accidentally changed the gear box setting? Or the other problems?
